In Spielen fühlt sich auch der Kleinste der Athlon 64-Familie zu Hause. Die Leistung liegt auf dem Niveau eines etwas teureren Pentium 4 mit 3,0 GHz. Der in Relation zum 3000+ genau um zehn Prozent niedrigere Prozessortakt hat einen Leistungsabfall von ca. vier Prozent zur Folge.
