ich hab grad gelesen, dass der ausm guru3d-forum den cd-treiber hatte und net den beta.
das würde natürlich seine stegerung erklären ^^
 
Das wurde ja auch langsam mal Zeit. Endlich wird meine X1900XTX vernünftig unterstützt, ohne den alten modifizierten Treiber oder den Betatreiber nutzen zu müssen.
 
Na, das kommt ja genau passend, hab gestern abend meine neue X1900XTX (aber flüssiggekühlt, also nix radau und so... ;-)) und der letzte catalyst 6.1 wollte garnicht funzen mit dem guten stück, so dass ich einen relativ alten beta von der treiber cd nehmen musste.
Bin mal echt gespannt...:D
 
Juhu, hab selsbt auch nur den Treiber ovn der CD weil der 6.1 die x1900 ja noch nicht unterstüzte.

besitze ne 850XT PE und habe den Cat 5.10 noch drauf, sollte ich weiter updaten oder macht der Catalyst ab der 6 Serie kein sinn mehr bei älteren Grakas?:rolleyes:

6er Serie heisst, dass der Treiber aus dem Jahr 2006 ist. Auf jeden Fall updaten!

6.2 = 2006 02 = Treiber vom Februar 2006, alles klar?

Es wird zwar nicht bei jedem release alles verändert, aber das update lohn sicherlich, schon wegen der Fixes. Und wenn Du die Rel. Notes liest steht da schon ein paar mal X850XT, also haben die Jungs da schon was getan. Drauf damit.

Da haben sich die News von gestern auf einigen Seiten aber leicht geirrt. Naja um so besser. Ich zieh mir den direkt mal und guck mal was er bei mir so bringt.
 
wo kriege ich das reine control panel für den 6.2?...
 
Meiner Meinung nach ist das der CAT 6.1, der lediglich um die nun offizielle X1900 Unterstützung erweitert wurde. Das erklärt möglicherweise die leichten Performanceverbesserungen der X19xx Karten, denn die wurden ja mit einem Uralt-Treiber (5.8) ausgeliefert und waren im CAT 6.1 noch nicht offiziell vertreten, was ziemlich armselig war. Wer mit anderen Karten vom 5.8 auf 6.1 updatet, wird auch Verbesserungen haben, insofern nix besonderes. Aber man darf hier nicht 6.1 zu 6.2 vergleichen ;).

Denn die Release Notes sind die vom 6.1. Bspw. betreffend den HL2 Bug mit dem Wasser oder den Bug in WoW. Ist beides mit dem 6.1 schon behoben worden und stand da genau so drin.

Ein Update lohnt also nur für Leute mit X19xx Karten.
