ich hab die lösung gefunden:

step 1) get rid of European FW
substep 1) get into recovery mode (see manual how to do that)
substep 2) select firmware update
it erases old fw first, then asks to connect to PC. don't do that yet. turn off MuVo2 after it ereased old FW.
If you immediatly connect after ereasing as it suggests, it won't erease the **** European FW. Just says it does but acutally doesn't.
After reboot it gets into recovery mode again automatically.
step 2) download latest *US* firmware.
though website currently states 10.03 is latest, if you download it, it's 12.01.
so get 12.0.1 US - firmware.
step 3) get again to change firmware menu
now connect to PC, and start firmware update program.
step 4) wait until update finished, after reboot
jetzt sollte fast kein grund mehr da sein sich den player nicht zu kaufen. habe ihn mir schon bestellt.
