Informationsleck bei Ubisoft

Obwohl es in der Regel äußerst unerfreulich für die betroffene Firma ist, kommt es trotzdem immer wieder vor, dass Mitarbeiter interne Informationen an Außenstehende, oft die Presse, weitergeben. Diesmal hat es Ubisoft getroffen: Eine zwei Gigabyte große Datei mit sensiblen Informationen landete auf einem ungeschützten FTP-Server.

Diese Datei enthielt unter anderem Artwork, Logos und Screenshots für mehrere angekündigte, aber auch für bisher geheimgehaltene Titel. Die Titel, die in dieser geleakten Datei genannt wurden, sind im einzelnen:

We are clearly displeased that confidential information from Ubisoft has been distributed on the internet. The publication of this type of information can only be harmful to the game development process and we will take all steps necessary to prevent this from happening in the future. We are still investigating the events that lead to this information leak and at this time have no further comment.
