To Install:

1. Unzip the package and place in a temporary folder.

2.If you have a previous version of my Frankfurt Airport scenery ( see Version History above) installed, ensure you have deleted the entire Frankfurt scenery folder including the scenery and texture subfolders.

3. Copy from the temp location the entire Frankfurt_Airport_v3_2 folder to your FSX add-on scenery folder or a separate scenery folder e.g. Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/Frankfurt_Airport _v3_2

4. Ensure you have the correct scenery folder activated in the FSX scenery library and give it a high priority.

5. Start up the FSX and the changes will be present.

Important Settings/Information:
1. All objects except those mentioned below have been created using the FSX standard objects library

2. For the double jetways to be shown correctly at the B gates, you need the JFK jetway .dds files in your texture folder and scenery complexity set to Very Dense.
These are stock files from FSX.

3. For CAT I/II/III and no entry signs and parking lot to be displayed, scenery complexity should be set to at least Normal.

4. For apron lighting & construction objects to be displayed, you should have scenery complexity set to at least Very Dense.

To Uninstall:

1. Delete the Frankfurt_Airport_v3_2 scenery folder from your FSX scenery add-on folder (or orther separate scenery folder) and the default airport will then be active.

Or

2. Got to the FSX Scenery library and deactivate or delete the airport add-on from the list.

Comments:
This scenery update is still a work in progress. Please provide feedback and I'll do my best to improve it.Unfortunately, I can not guarantee this scenery will work under all circumstances and you download/use it at your own risk based on the understanding and knowledge that I will accept no responsibility for errors, damage etc to your computer, applications etc.

Tip:
When at EDDF in tower view: go to your control settings and look for the "View track/pan Toggle" option
Allocate a keyboard key stroke to it. This will unlock the user aircraft, then you can use the hat switch to pan 360 degrees around the airport. Hitting the key stroke again will return you to the user aircraft position
