Hallo liebe community.

Mike.

"There's a program called synergy which lets you use the mouse, keyboard, and keyboard of one computer on another -and the ps3 is no exception.

On your PS3:

Go to the synaptic package manager and install the packages synergy and quick synergy.

On your PC [I'm assuming WinXP]:

Google synergy and install the latest binary version. Start it up, click on "Configure". You will need to add 2 screens, one for you pc, and one for your ps3. All you need to enter is the screen name. I don't like how they use that term b/c it's really just the computer name. so enter the name of your ps3 (it's in the buttom-right corner of you login screen). and add another screen with the name of your pc. In the bottom there's stuff like 0 to 100 % of ...
you must create a link b/c that the only way you can switch control. you need atleast two links to be able to go back and forth. for example, "0 to 100 of the top of andrew-pc goes to 0 to 100 of andrew-ps3" will give contol to the ps3 when i move the mouse over the top edge of my laptop's screen. press ok. and test it. tell my if you're having any trouble.

hope that helps. that was my very first how-to, sorry if it's sloppy or detailed enough.
