keine windows updates installier-fähig

hi,
ich paste hier einfach mal mein problem hinein, welches ich bereits in der microsoft newsgroup geschrieben habe.

Hello there,
I just had to do a repair installation of my xp
proffessional because it was the only way i knew to get HT
from my p4 working. Well now i know another method to get
it to work but thats another topic...

my problem now after the re-installation is that i cant
update my windows anymore!
when i try to install the updates from the update-page i
just see that the updates are down but the installation
progress wont start.
i already installed the XP-SP1 manually but it still wont
work.

I have 3 problems now:
1. cant install the updates [see above]
2. no video-playback works [i already re-installed the
codecs]
3. cant install directx

please help me.
i dont want to re-install my whole system:[

Hast du auch die richtige Länderversion der PAtches? Für die deutsche XP Version brauchste auch die deutschen PAtches, die die englische Version die englischen usw.

HAst du die Patches mal manuell gezogen? Zieh dir am besten ein Update PAck
