HINWEIS: Bevor die Liste mit den Boards und den Biosversionen folgt möchte ich daraufhinweisen, dass man durch das direkte Klicken auf die gewünschte Biosversion zum Download gelangt. Sollte es mal nicht der Fall sein oder es ist zum Beispiel ein falsches Bios verlinkt wäre es SUPER, wenn Ihr es Im Thread oder durch PN an mich melden würdet.

WE WANT YOUR BIOS:
Ihr habt ein Bios, welches nicht in dem Sammelthread aufgeführt ist oder nicht mehr auf dem ASUS-Server zu finden ist? Sichert es mit ASUS-Update unter "Aktuelle Bios-Datei speichern", packt es in eine Zip-File, beschriftet es bitte vollständig (z.B. M2N-SLI_Dlx_0903 für eine Final, M2N-SLI_Dlx_0903_Beta für eine Beta) und postet es hier im Thread! Nach einer kurzen Prüfung wird das Bios mit Eurem Nick in die Liste mit aufgenommen. Solltet Ihr auch noch im Besitz der Change-Log sein, einfach mitposten oder als txt-File (Editor) mit in die zip-Datei packen.

Ein Bios zu flashen geschieht immer auf eigene Gefahr! Weder ASUS noch der Thread-Ersteller haften für einen fehlgeschlagenen Bios-Flash!

Mit ASUS-Update neues Bios mit Älterem überspielen:
Falls Ihr mal ein altes Bios mit ASUS-Update über ein neues Bios flashen wollt müsst Ihr nur im ASUS-Update unter Optionen bei Bios Downgradable einen Haken setzen und Ihr könnt diese dann aufspielen!

BIOS flashen Unter DOS mit AFUDOS (AMI-BIOS):
Man erstellt eine DOS Start-Diskette (im Explorer rechter Mausklick auf das Diskettensymbol, dann Formatieren auswählen und das Häkchen bei "DOS Startdiskette erstellen" setzen) und kopiert das BIOS File und die AFUDOS.exe auf die Diskette. Nun begibt man sich ins BIOS Setup und läd die "Setup defaults" (Die Diskette befindet sich im Laufwerk!) Änderungen speichern!Nun Startet der PC und läd automatisch das Setup Programm von Diskette.Der Befehl zum Flashen lautet: afudos /i"filename" Das war es. (written by Jensematz)

Eine DOS Maske erscheint, in dieser wird der Name des BIOS File eingegeben, z.B. "1009.bin". Mit Enter Bestätigen! Nach einigen Sekunden wird man gefragt ob das BIOS gespeichert werden soll (Press:Y/N) dies wird mit "N" für NEIN bestätigt, damit der Flashvorgang startet. Wird die Meldung angezeigt, dass das Update erfolgreich war, drückt man F1 um den Rechner neu zu starten. Das war es"(written by Jensematz)

Dieser Thread ist für alle die Erfahrungen und Probleme mit den Biosversionen der ASUS Boards der M2N-Serie haben oder kundtun wollen!...

... na dann werd ich doch mal ...
Ich habe gestern meinen neuen Rechner mit "M2N32-SLI Deluxe" Bord bekommen.
Nach der Windows installation wollte ich mein Bios flashen ... ein eigenes Logo im POST-Screen sollte es sein ... ist ja laut Beschreibung von ASUS mit dem Tool "MyLogo3" kein Problem ... also Backup vom aktuellen BIOS gemacht, neues Logo geflasht (640 x 480 / Gif-Format / 256-Farben / 62 kb groß) also alles in Ordnung mit dem Bild ... My Logo 3
flaschte die BIOS Datei auch einwandfrei ... danach im Update-Tool (unter windows) das neue BIOS aktualisiert .... und wie aufgefordert reboot durchgeführt. So weit so gut ...
... Rechner geht an ... mein Logo erscheint (TOLL!) ... und .... und ....und ...und ...nichts mehr ... das wars ... außer meinem Logo bekomme ich vom meinem Rechner nun nichts mehr presentiert. ... 3, 4, 5 mal RESET und POWER ein/aus gedrückt. Nein ... mehr als eine Logo-Anzeige-Maschine ist aus dem 2000 € Rechner nun nicht mehr rauszuholen.

Also das Handbuch /und das Internet um Rat gefragt ... das alte (oder das aktuellste) BIOS muss wieder drauf .... aber wie? ... Boot von Diskette -> fehlanzeige / von CD ... ebenfalls ... ah!! Hier im Handbuch ist die Lösung "EZ Flash" : startet (angeblich) wenn mann im POST Bildschirm <ALT> + <F2> drückt ... super die Lösung dachte ich .... aber auch das Funktioniert NICHT ! Hundert mal probiert ... es geht nicht!
............... also Rechner wieder eingepackt und zurück gesendet!

Bin daher momantan noch nicht so begeistert von dem Board!
Mal schauen ob mein Lieferant auf blöd macht oder mir das Board / Bios anstandslos tauscht!

Wenn es sich um eine Beta handelt steht es in der Regel dabei, aber um es wie gewünscht besser zu betonen werde ich dies fett und farbig markieren. Auch für Vorschläge bin ich gerne zu haben.

:jumpin: Jo, Feedback ist natürlich immer gern gesehen! Danke für deinen ausführlichen Post. Ich weis jetzt nicht wie es sich mit dem Bootscreen Logos verhält, aber in der Regel geschieht ja ein Bios-Update immer auf eigene Gefahr, d.h. es liegt ganz bei der Kulanz deines Lieferanten ob er es dir ohne weiteres umtauscht oder nicht. In der Regel hilft ein neuer Biosbaustein fürs Mainboard und dieser kostet bei ASUS knapp 20,- €.

Ich kann nur jeden das neue Bios 0504 vom M2N32-SLI Deluxe ans Herz legen. Da hier einige Fehler behoben werden und der Funktionumfang weiter gesteigert wurde.

- wenn man nun den Multiplikator ändert wird dieses auch übernommen
- C&Q ist nun möglich wenn man es im Bios aktiviert
- weniger abstürze beim neustrat wenn man etwas im Bios geändert hat
- und einiges mehr ...

mich würde interessieren ob beim M2N32-SLI Deluxe C&Q noch möglich ist wenn der Multi verstellt ist und / oder die V-Core auf einem anderen Wert als "standart" gestellt wurde.

Bei der Änderung des Multi geht C&Q noch, da C&Q die Einstellung des Multi aussetzt :evillol:

Kurz, wenn C&Q an ist, kann man den Multi ändern wie man will, es wird nicht übernommen bzw. ignoriert.

jo, stimmt! Das 0201 ist das Bios von den ersten M2N32 WS Prof Platinen! Jedoch auf den beiden ftp-Servern sowie auf der Download-Site ist es nicht oder nicht mehr verfügbar! Für einen Link wäre ich dir sehr dankbar sowie für Infos zu den Versionen 0201 und 0304 falls du genauere Details hast. Wäre auch Super, wenn du das Prob mit ATI und dem 0304 näher erleutern könntest damit ich dies evtl. oben mit einfließen lassen kann.

Bin besitzer eines asus m2n e und es ist scheisse tut mir leid war froh dass ich mir ein neues szstem yusammen gestellt habe nur das bios nimmt meine OCZ Gold ddr2 800 nicht an ich muss sie auf 400 mhz runtertakten damit ueberhaupt irgendetwas funzt hoffe asus bringt das mit nem neuen bios zum laufen...

:watt: Der Speicher läuft doch mit 400MHz Realtakt und nicht mit 800MHz! Auf die 800MHz kommt man ja dann nur weil der Speicher (DoubleDataRam) 2 Datenpackete pro Takt übermittelt.

Oder hast du im Bios Manuell unter Advanced -> DRAM-Configuration -> Memory Clock Frequency auf DDR2 400 gestellt, damit er läuft?

Bitte mehr Infos! Hast du auch schon das 0203 Bios aufgespielt?

Ich pers habe mich nur über die NULL-Ausstattung des M2N-E geärgert! Da war mein altes A8N-E ja richtig Luxuriös dagegen.

Hö? Was hat das denn mehr? Also außer seriell/parallel?
Hat es etwa Firewire?
