3DMark2001 SE

  • Der 3DMark 2001SE ist ohne Frage das beliebteste Programm zur Bewertung eines "Gamer-PCs". In einer Reihe synthetischer, aber recht praxisnaher Einzeltests (zum Teil basierend auf der Max Payne Engine) wird vor allem der Grafikkarte alles abverlangt. Neben der Grafikkarte werden hier CPU und Speicher bzw. deren reibungslose Kooperation besonders in den Vordergrund gestellt. Allerdings ist der Benchmark in den letzten Monaten immer öfter in die Kritik geraten, weil man ihm parteiische Messungen zu Gunsten nVidia oder andere Manipulationen zu Gunsten eines Hersteller nachweisen konnte.
