Morgen kommt endlich der Nachfolger von Railroad Tycoon raus. Heißt jetzt Sid Meiers Railroads! Eventuell erscheint heute auch nochmal ein Demo, wenn man demonews.de Glauben schenken kann.

Bin schon super gespannt auf das Spiel. Vorallem auf die Grafik. Ist ja diesmal auch eine Mischung aus Wirtschaftssimulation und Bahnbau. Und man kann jetzt auch online spielen. Die Screenshots sahen auf jeden Fall schon super aus.

Hi , ich hab auch mal ein Blick auf die Screens geworfen und fand es wirklich ansprechend . Jedoch werde ich es mir sicher nicht sofort kaufen . Ich habe momentan noch ganz andere Titel auf meiner Liste die Vorrang haben ^^ !

Und damit wären wir auch schon beim ersten Problem: die Demo will bei mir nicht. Minimiert sich nach einem kurzen, schwarzen Screen und das war's. DX sollte das neueste sein, meine GF 6800GS rennt noch mit dem 84.21. Wie schaut's bei euch aus?
 
Hab zwar eine Radeon 9800 Pro, aber bei mir läuft die Demo einwandfrei und das mit neuestem Catalyst-Treiber, muß eventuell an deinem Treiber oder dein System liegen, LeChris.
 
Werde mir mal die Demo ziehen, mal schauen ob er mit Teil 2 mithalten kann. Teil 3 von Poptop war ja eher ein Reinfall. Durch die Vorberichte liegt ja eher die Vermutung nahe, daß es ein Spiel für Kinder oder Gelegenheitsspieler wird. So wie es aussah ohne jeglichen Anspruch. Umso erstaunter war ich über den Test in der PC Powerplay (um die 85%). Hab ihn aber nur im Zeitschriftenladen einmal kurz überflogen. :) Die Gamestar vergab 70%, hatte noch keine Zeit den Test zu lesen.
 
Jepp, lag an 'mir'. Zumindest das Intro wollte erst nicht so, den Menüscreen habe ich dann zur Anzeige bekommen. Lag' vermutlich am Widescreenformat des TFT, nach Wahl der entsprechenden Auflösung geht auch das Intro.

Ersteindruck: ganz nett. Aber die einzelnen Unterpunkte in den Städten was da nun so wirtschaftlich drin ist sind irgendwie schwer zu erkennen.
 
Scheint wohl stark vereinfacht worden zu sein. Trotzdem könnte es im Multiplayer ganz spaßig sein. Leider hat die Demoversion keinen Multiplayermodus. Außerdem hat die Demoversion wohl nur die kleinste Karte. Schade das man nicht mehr ganze Kontinente als Karte hat, ist wohl der Preis für den 3D Modus. Trotzdem würde ich gern sehen wie groß die größten Karten sind. Ich hoffe mal, daß meine Videothek das Spiel reinkriegt, so vom Demo werde ich es mir wohl nicht kaufen. Für den Singleplayermodus, scheint es mir einfach nicht komplex genug zu sein.
 
ich hab mir das spiel gestern mal zugelegt. absoluter fan der vorgänger. das jetzige ist in punkto wirtschaft echt gut gelungen. klar, liebhabern von rt3 fehlt estimmt ein wenig was. aber mir gefällts. mal schauen, wie lange ich brauche, um es "durchgespielt" zu haben. ;)
 
Ich habe es auch, und es gefällt mir. Leider hat das Programm, die KI der Züge probleme bei mehrgleisigen Strecken, immer wieder bleiben Züge stehen, obwohl eine andere Strecke frei währe, und auch weichen da währen. Hoffe mal das ein Patch das Problem behebt.
 
Der Spaß wird sehr gebremst, weil die Züge bei "Schwer" ständig stehen bleiben. Selbst vierfachausbauten der Schienenwege nützen nichts, nach nen paar Minuten haben sie es wieder geschafft sich zu verheddern... :freak:

Zusätzlich dessen stürzt das Spiel ab. Einfach mitten im Spiel landet man auf dem Destkop. Durch solche Aktionen wurden mir schon viele Spiele versaut da ich, wenn überhaupt, nur einen Spielstand vom Mittelalter hatte. Das automatische Speichern läuft auch ziemlich eigenartig. Manchmal ist es an, dann im nächsten Spiel wieder nicht.

Eins hab ich noch: Manchmal kommen Züge durch die Luft geflogen mit Mach 1 und landen dann wieder auf den Schienen oder fahren 1km unterhalb der Schienen lang. Schweinefarmen hingen bei mir auch schonmal 500m über dem Boden. :o

Da wird dringend ein Patch benötigt!

Sonst macht das Spiel allerdings Spass.

Arg, jetzt hab ich ein Spielstand der jedesmal nach 5 Sekunden zusammenbricht, nachdem er geladen wurde.

Ich hab muir das Game gestern geholt aber jetzt kommt das problem:
Zug fährt los---->kommt an----->läd aus----->läd ein---->Fährt los------>kommt an-----> bleibt stehen und äd nicht aus.

Wahrscheinlich ist das problem garkein echtes problem aber ich weis icht wi e ich es lösen soll.Ich habe das Gme auch schon 5 mal neu installiert, doch dieses problem tritt immer wieder auf.

Ich hoffe ihr antwortet schnell.

Updates:

* AI - Added a negative value to investor level, to slow AI down if he's ever actually winning.
* AI - AI no longer initiates an "Industry Auction" for an Industry the Player just won in an "Auction".

Bei dem Patch ist einiges dabei, stimmt. Aber da mein Englisch nicht gut ist weis ich nicht ob das Problem behoben ist, das die Züge bei komplexen Gleisbauten gerne mal stehen bleiben, obwohl eigentlich ein Gleis frei währe.
 
Ich hab seit ein paar Tagen die Vollversion und bin auch mega begeistert. Das Demo oder die Screenshots sahen ja schon gut aus, aber die Vollversion ist halt die Vollversion ;). Die Grafik ist echt super gelungen und die Kampagnen sind interessant, wenn auch nicht ganz einfach. Der Multiplayer macht ebenfalls echt Laune! Online spielen ist natürlich auch drin. Also echt eine Spielespass für mehrere Stunden (und Nächte).
