WindowsXP German Updates Database

Tachchen,

ich hab mal die Patches von WindowsXP German zusammen gesucht, die man so downloaden kann - also ohne das Windowsupdate Feature von XP (es scheint ja noch ein Weilchen zum ersten ServicePack zu dauern). Zum Checken welche Patches Ihr braucht, kann ich Euch waermstens den Microsoft Network Security Hotfix Checker (HFNetChk) Version 3.3 empfehlen:

Hier kannst Du die Updates kontrollieren lassen und auf Platte speichern. Geht nur unter XP, kannst auch aussuchen welche Du nimmst. werkam

Hallo, wenn Du das erste mal was runterlädst, testet er welche updates Du brauchst, gibst einen Ordner an worin gespeichert werden soll. Danach kannst Du die Verbindung beenden und die Updates von der Platte installieren. Beim nächsten Mal weiß Win XP schon welche Du schon installiert hast. Es geht nur unter XP! Mit einem anderen System kannst Du nichts runterladen. werkam

Nein, unter dieser Page machst Du ein online Update, unter der angegebenen Seite (von mir die) ist es möglich z.B. für Systemadmins die Dateien auf Platte zu speichern, um dann mehrere Rechner damit upzudaten, die ja nicht unbedingt alle ins Netz können.( CD brennen). Die Dateien kannst Du ruhig auf die Platte speichern, installieren kannst Du diese dann immer noch. Es passiert nichts online (??), ausser dass nachgesehen wird ob Du mit XP eingewählt bist. Die mitgeladenen URL´s sind für die jeweilige Beschreibung, mußt Du ja nicht unbedingt anklicken, dann gehts wieder zu M$ auf die knowledge Seiten. werkam

Also ich finde das eine tolle Sache und möchte mich an dieser Stelle mal bei Toengel bedanken.
Da es mit Sicherheit öfter vorkommt, dass solche Updates gesucht werden, pinne ich das Topic mal eine Weile oben fest.

Microsoft behebt mit einem Patch ein Kompatibilitäts-Problem von Windows 2000 und XP, wegen dem die DVD "Schneewittchen und die sieben Zwerge" nicht in PC-Laufwerken abgespielt werden konnte. Die Betriebssysteme soll dabei Schwierigkeiten mit dem Datei-Format der DVD gehabt haben.

Der 230 KByte große Patch korrigiert laut Microsoft einen Fehler des 2000- und XP-Treibers für das Universal Disk Format (UDF). Einige Daten auf der "Schneewittchen"-DVD sollen in diesem Format gespeichert sein, was darin resultierte, dass Audio- und Video-Inhalte des Medium nicht korrekt oder gar nicht wiedergegeben wurden.
