Neue Omega- und DNA-Treiber

Am Sonntag Abend haben die Jungs von Omegacorner ihren frischen Satz Treiber veröffentlicht. Parallel dazu gibt es auch ein Update bei den DNA-Treibern. Beide Grafikkartentreiber basieren dabei auf dem Referenztreiber 4.8 - bringen somit dessen Vorzüge und auch einige weitere Extras mit sich.

Wie immer werden die geänderten Punkte in ausführlicher Weise dargelegt:

• Based on the official Catalyst 4.8 drivers.
• Added support for some new Radeon cards.
• Fixed a few laptop bugs (but still unsure about the video playback problem).
• Optimized the current OGL driver for D3, it should improve performance with no loss in quality.
• Optimized FSAA performance for both D3D and OGL.
• Updated Radlinker to version 1.013
• Updated ATITool to version 0.0.21
• Updated Multires to version 1.47
• Updated the DX Control Panel to Dx9.0c

Der DNA-Treiber beinhaltet neben den Files des offiziellen Catalyst 4.8 einige Dateien des Beta-Treibers 4.9 - inklusive erweitertem Doom 3-Support:

• VERSION:: DNA-drivers 2.8.4.8a
• Based on the Official CATALYST 4.8 release - with the CATALYST 4.9 BETA OpenGL file
• Added the DNA-drivers-Changer This will allow you to change the:
  • Icons
  • OpenGL file
• whithout having to reinstall the whole driver
• Fixed install problems ("video driver could not be found") - all ATI RADEON cards should install now.
• Added the DNA-drivers special Insane FPS Installation (beta)
• Added a new Call Of Duty installation
• Added a new RTCW ET installation
• Deleted the CounterStrike_16BIT and 32Bit install options - the Normal, HighFPS,UltraFPS and Insane_FPS options should do the job
• Added New DNA-drivers themes to the installation - all icons in the CP and start-menu get the theme chosen
• Removed an DNA-drivers theme from the installation
