Hallo,
ich möchte aus bestimmten Pc-Spiele Sounds / Musik / Geräusche auf Youtube hochladen und evtl. monetrasieren. Für Lets Play hat man ja die Genehmigung sowas hochzuladen und monetarisieren. Aber bei meinem "Vorhaben" finde ich dazu keine genaue Auskunft. Daher frage ich jeden Entwickler und Publisher nach Erlaubnis.
Bei meinem Lieblingsspiel "World of Warcraft" habe ich von Blizzard folgende Antwort erhalten:
Note that Blizzard Entertainment's restriction that Productions be limited to "non-commercial" uses also means that you may not license a Production you have created to another company for a fee, or for any other form of compensation, without specific written permission from Blizzard Entertainment to do so. Blizzard Entertainment reserves the right to use its products for all commercial purposes. The only exceptions to this rule are if you participate in partner programs with YouTube, Justin.tv, Blip.tv, Own3d.tv, or Ustream.tv (the “Production Websites”) whereby a Production Website may pay you for views of a Production if you are accepted into their partner program.
Daraus geht doch nur hervor, dass ich "alles" auf youtube hochladen kann. Und als Antwort auf meiner E-Mail deute ich das als ein "Ja". Aber da mir das noch zu ungenau ist, möchte ich mich noch zu dem Thema informieren.
Was passiert, wenn Blizzard nun meine Videos auf YT findet und sagt: Ne, das gefällt uns nicht und du hast nicht das Recht solche Videos zu erstellen. Kann Blizzard mich in dem Fall ohne Vorwarnung etc. in Grund und Boden verklagen? (natürlich geht aus der videobeschreibung / titel hervor, dass ich nicht der ersteller der sounds bin und dass diese aus dem jeweiligen Spiel kommen)
