VMware Workstation - soundproblem

hi,
ich habe einen pc mit w7 x64 und habe jetzt mit hilfe von VM ware Workstation Windows XP x86 installiert. hat nach einigen hürden alles geklappt aber jetzt stehe ich noch vor einem prolem: ich kriege keinen sound. anscheinend ist das problem bekannt bei VMware weil sie haben eine eigene anleitung dafür *klick* (abstatz "Setting Up Sound in the Guest Operating System"

Ich habe sie genau befolgt aber mein problem liegt bei schritt 7:

6. Select Sound, video and game controllers, then click Next.

7. Select Creative Technology Ltd. in the Manufacturer list and Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 or compatible (WDM) in the list of devices, then click Next.

bei mir stehen dort nur zwei optionen: "Standard system devices" und "Microsoft", aber nicht Creative wie es in der anleitung vorausgesetzt wird.

Kennt jemand das problem? wäre sehr dankbar für jede hilfe

Hast du die VMware tools indstalliert?

ja ist installiert.

Habe deine Version gesehen und muss dir sagen das ich im Moment bei Version 7 bin...da funktioniert alles tadellos.

wieso woher weisst du welche version ich habe? ich habe version "7.0.0 build-203739"
