Schwerwiegender Fehler: TEXP70

Hallo,

ich habe mir GTA 4 gekauft, installiert und den neusten Patch draufgemacht.
Immer wenn ich das Spiel starte geht er bis dahin wo normalerweise das Rockstarzeichen erscheint und schließt das Spiel dann mit folgender Fehlermeldung:

GTA IV: SCHWERWIEGENDER FEHLER: TEXP70
GTA IV: SCHWERWIEGENDER FEHLER: Depth Render Target konnte nicht erzeugt werden - Bitte DirectX neu installieren und/oder den aktuellsten Grafiktkartentreiber installieren.

Ich habe schon so einiges versucht:
1. DirectX neuinstalliert - keine Veränderung
2. Grafikkartentreiber geupdatet - keine Veränderung
3. nen alten Grafikkartentreiber installiert - keine Veränderung

Habt ihr irgendwelche Idee woran es liegen könnte, und wie ich das Problem beheben kann?

Mein Sys:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 (2x2GHz) - hochgetaktet auf 2,8 GHz
GRAKA: Nvidia Zotac 8800GT AMP! (512 MB)
Speicher: 3GB

Also auf GTAForums steht, dass man im Abgesichertem Modus den Grafikkarten Treiber deinstallieren und anschließend neu installieren soll.

For those who do not know how to do this, here goes:

1) Reboot your PC and just after the initial Bios screens (Before the words/logo saying "Loading Windows") keep pressing the F8 key constantly. You will then get a menu list up and choose "Safe Mode"

2) Go to control panel and "Add/Remove Programs" in XP or "Programs and Features" in Vista.

3) Search down the list for the "Nvidia Drivers", highlight it and click the uninstall button at the top. If like me nvidia also additional hardware components (Raid, Sata etc) then select "Remove only the following" and select "Display Driver"

4) Reboot the PC and go back into safe mode as above.

5) Re-install the latest Nvidia graphocs driver , reboot again and in my case, I then had a fully working version of GTA IV.
