Hallo, weiß jemand ob die X6 CPUs von AMD auf diesen Board laufen (Lanparty DK 790FXB-M2RSH) auf der Homepage steht nix davon und bei Google finde ich nix handfestes....

ich hab dem DFI-Support diesbezüglich letztens eine Email geschrieben, die Antwort war:
Dear Sir:
There is good news and bad news. The good news is that DFI is planning a mass launch of 6 core BIOS support for our various AMD boards. The bad news is that the date is not set and some boards may not receive 6 core support. To be quite frank the reason is that we have some concerns about the PWM's ability on some of the older boards to handle 6 core power regulation. Your board is somewhat older and may or may not receive a 6 core BIOS update. Sorry that I can not give any more clear answer than that at the moment.
Also sind die sich da selbst nicht im klaren drüber ob ein neues Bios für 6 Kerne kommt, oder nicht. Ich würde eher auf ein anderes Board setzen falls du das noch nicht haben solltest.
Hm ok das ist schade.... Wollte mir das Board günstig kaufen....
"Die wissen auch nichts" und da ist das schon ein teures Board für AMD Verhältnisse... wenn das ASRock sogar hin bekommt mit X6... bei einen 50€ Board.

Das heißt einfach, das es BIOS Updates für den X6 geben wird, sie aber noch kein Datum nennen können und einige Mainboards kein X6 Support erhalten.
Und der Grund ist, das einige ältere Mainboards dann Probleme bekommen können, den X6 korrekt mit Spannung zu versorgen und dein Mainboard schon was älter ist und er nicht weiß ob dafür ein BIOS Update kommt.
Ob nun Slopestyle-1 sein Mainboard ein BIOS Update zur Unterstützung des X6 bekommt, weiß also nur der Support selber.
Also ich hoffe auch mal ganz stark, dass ein BIOS Update rauskommt. Zwar möchte ich kein X6 bei mir draufpacken, allerdings ist das höchste, was lauf DFI, auf mein Board draufpasst ein PII 940.
Also letzten hab ich im DFI-Forum gelesen, dass DFI zum einen die Lanparty MB's auslaufen lässt (letzte neue MB's irgendwann Ende 2009!)
Diesbezüglich sieht es dann nat. auch schlecht aus, was Biosupdates angeht. Für das M2RSH gibts ja auch schon seit fast 9 Monaten kein neues Bios!
Was den X6 Support angeht, stand dort auch, das es wohl für KEIN AM2+ Board ein Bios geben wird. Der Grund soll wohl aber nicht DFI selber sein, sondern Phoenix, der Bioshersteller! Was da nun wahr ist oder nicht k.a.
Ich denk mal, das da wohl nix mehr kommen wird, bin daher auch schon am überlegen meins irgendwie abzustoßen!
