In den ausgesuchten OpenCL-Benchmarks dreht die gesamte Radeon-HD-7000-Riege regelrechte Kreise um die Kepler-Konkurrenz, sodass selbst eine Radeon HD 7850 beinahe durchweg schneller als die GeForce GTX 680 ist. Hier macht sich das Kepler-Problem deutlich bemerkbar. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Design-Entscheidung, damit die GPU möglichst klein bleibt.
