Gaming linux distro für workstation: threadripper 3970x tripple boot gpu passthrough AI kvm qemu windows 11 proxmox 9 evtl. sec. boot aktiv und ...?

Moin in die Runde,
habe eine Workstation basis Threadripper 3970x, mittlerweile im Vollausbau und möchte eine Linux Gaming distro als drittes baremetal OS in meiner Workstation integrieren.
Jetztz aber welche Distro?
Anfangs hatte ich die Hoffnung das ich es mit aktivem Secure boot gelöst bekomme, so würde ich sogar den Kompromis gehen und immer wenn ich linux gaming anwerfe sec. boot ausschalte. Habt Ihr sec. boot aktiv auf gaming linux? und wenn ja mit welchem Aufwand und welche distro?

Bin jetzt einige distros durch und bei ubunutu / kubuntu als am einfachsten mit sec. boot angekommen aber mit Hindernissen.
Andere Gaming distros haben diese Hindernisse nicht, können aber sec. Boot nicht out of the Box.

bis auf OpenSuse Tumbleweed habe ich viele Distributionen durch getestet mit Hilfe von Goolge, chatgpt, copilot gemini bing etc.

Jetzt weiß ich nicht mehr weiter, welche Distro?

Hindernisse:
3x GPU: RTX 4090, RTX 2080, RX 5500 XT
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey 57" G9 Gaming
Sec. Boot am besten out of the box
Threadripper im Vollausbau alle PCIx Slots belegt, RAM Vollsaubau mit ECC, Soundkarte Soundblaster AES5 Plus, SATA alle ports ausgeschöpft, NVME Onboard alle ausgeschöpft und noch eine NVME Erweiterungskarte mit 4x NVME

Kurze Beispiele:
Ubuntu / Kubuntu OutoftheBox Expierence mit sec. Boot läuft aber wayland gnome oder KDE und mein Monitor Bäm -> nacharbeit
Ohne Sec. Boot
pop_os gefällt muss es nochmals probieren wegen Cosmic
nobara läuft -> Monitor bäm unnd seec Boot frimmelei
Garuda Dragonized läuft Monitor lief kein sec. Boot ohne viel nacharbeit bei updates
nixos -> interessantes konzept deklarativ reizt aber ... weiß nicht

Aber einziog POP_OS und Nobara ging alles relativ fluffig ohne sec. Boot
immer gab es einen Stolperstein, sei es die Auflösung des monitors nicht richtig erkannt, multi display setup (2x Monitor Full HD Acer und Samsung) unter Wayland switch auf X11 etc.

Habt ihr Erfahrungen mit Secure Boot aktiv und einer Gaming Linux distro, wo es läuft?
Ich teste aktuell OpsenSuse Tumbleweed.

Der Wunsch nach aktiviertem sec. Boot ist dem geschuldet, dass die MP Windows 11 Games es mittlerweile verlangen, aber es jedesmal ein BIOS / UEFI gefummel ist Sec. Boot zu aktivieren und zu deaktivieren und ich es mir mal wünsche einigermaßen out of the box hinzubekommen. so das ich nur aus dem Boot Menu des BIOS heraus wähle welches OS soll es denn jetzt sein.

CachyOS sollte bei allem bei dir klarkommen.
Für die Installation selbst müsstest du Secureboot deaktivieren, aber danach ist es relativ einfach einzurichten.

Ich würde eventuell Debian oder ein Ubuntu als Basis nehmen (Beide können secure boot) xfce mit x ist zwar optisch weniger modern, aber monitoranpassung usw. Funktioniert super! Und dann per Incus eine VM für Bazzite und Gaming erstellen.
Debian Derivate bekommen sehr gute support bei allen deinen Anforderungen und du könntest für viele Sachen auch Lxc nutzen um das Hauptsystem sauber zu halten.
GPU Passthrough ging bei mir mit Incus noch unkomplizierter als in Proxmox.

Wenn du Bock auf ubuntu hast, dann kannst du auch ubuntu micro cloud nehmen, das ist halt das gebrandete Incus mit eventuell ein paar mehr features.

Habt Ihr sec. boot aktiv auf gaming linux? und wenn ja mit welchem Aufwand und welche distro?

Multi-Monitor (Full-HD Portrait + UWQHD Main) sind mit KDE Wayland bisher kein Problem gewesen.

Aber ob Bazzite mit multi-GPU so zurechtkommt oder mit Server-Hardware generell kann ich nicht sagen.

Fedora arbeitet Standard mit Secure. Also müsstest dies auch Nobara tun. Also geh mal auf Fedora und lass Secure Boot eingeschaltet schon während der Installation.
