Kindle 3 tot, meldet sich an Windows nur noch als SE Blank Ringo

Mein Kindle hat von heute auf morgen das Zeitliche gesegnet, keinerlei Auffälligkeiten vorher, kein Sturz, kein Badegang, nada...

Der Devicename impliziert, das der Kindle gar nicht mehr zum booten kommt, hatte das schon jemand und konnte es lösen? Im Inet gibt es zahlreiche Threads, aber keine Lösungen.

Es wäre echt schade um den Kindle, ich hänge irgendwie an dem Gerät. Gewährleistung ist seit 1 Jahr rum, ist also kein Thema.

The 3G wireless card pulls 3 AMPS (3,000Ma) when it is transmitting.
You have 1,500MaH in the K3.
Simple math = If the Kindle is trying to call home over 3G on a low battery, things will go to he.. in a hurry.

I.E: Same conclusion as yours, just different words.

Nope, ich kann selbst googlen und hatte die Quelle schon gelsen, hilft nicht im geringsten und ist zudem falsch, weder die 3A für das Whispermodul noch die Akkukapazität stimmen, in den meisten Threads zu dem Thema steht echt nur Mist. Das beste bisher war, das jemand behauptete es wäre kein echter Kindle sondern was von Sony Ericsson, weil er sich als SE Blank Ringo meldet.

wenn man sich die amazon rezessionen durchliest kommt ein defekt öfters vor.

Wenn du bei Amazon direkt gekauft hast: E-Mail an Amazon mit kurzer Beschreibung deines Problems. Die sind da extrem kulant, vielleicht bekommst du ein Ersatzgerät.

Allerdings haben die Kindle-Produkte eine "Einjährige beschränkte Europagarantie".
(und die Wortwahl ist genial ...: heißt nicht "eingeschränkt" sondern tatsächlich "beschränkt"... ;-) )
