Hello, I am Tim, from France ;) . Sorry I don´t speak German
I come in Germany to work on a doctorate.

I need a DSL connection but I don´t know what to chose.

I don´t know the different DSL contracts and the DSL providers.

I don´t need a phone, just DSL.

Could you tell me what are the best offers for DSL in Germany?

Thank you very much

Hello!

Look at http://www.arcor.de. There you get a telephone and DSL Flatrate with DSL 2000 for 44,85€ or DSL 6000 for 49,85€. I would choose the DSL 6000, much faster ;)

Greetings

BraehlerM

edit: To every DSL you get Fastpath, too ;)

edit: Or get Alice DSL @ http://www.alice-dsl.de with DSL 16000 for 50€ :D

try www.alice-dsl.de
Alice offers a 4 MBit/s DSL flatrate without any telephone connection.
The basic fee for the alice light flat is 29.90EUR, the term of notice is 4 weeks, not like other providers, where you have to sign a contract for 24 months.

In germany you always need an additional telephone line, even if you don't need a phone. This basic line costs further 16EUR and comes from the t-com. With alice, this line is not needed anymore, so that the total mothly costs are only the above mentioned 29.90EUR.

@tim_coucou

How long will you stay in germany?
In my opinion, it make no sense to ink a contract for 24 months if you stay only for a half year here in germany.
You should better have an eye on this before you run into difficulties! :)

Thank you all for your answers.

I will stay at least 3 years in germany.

I have been on the Alice website to see the offers.

Can you tell me the differences between the 19,90 and the 29,90 € contracts?

Thanks

The contract for 29,99€ contains a telephone flatrate. Consequently the telephone flat costs 10€.
However I guess you will phone majoritly to France (instead to german girls :D), so the telephone flat turn out to be profitable for you!
