Some mailboxes are not being archived (MailsStore)

Hi everyone,


we are running MailStore Server 13.2.0.20422 with Exchange Server 2019 on Windows Server 2019.


We have an issue where some mailboxes are not being archived. It seems to affect users whose accounts were changed in our company (for example renamed or moved).


We already checked and compared the settings with other working mailboxes – everything looks identical. But for some users archiving does not work, while for others it runs fine.


Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could cause this behavior?

As you have the server version, you probably should get in contact with the technical support: https://www.mailstore.com/en/support/knowledge/mailstore-server/

As I only use the personal version, I have no idea about the server version. But I guess that you will find somewhere logfiles, which you could check for details...

Mailstore 13.2 is kind of ancient... you might want to update. Remember to do the in-between step at 24.x because it needs to update the database schema.

That doesn't normally stop mailstore from archiving, though it might start a new archive if you renamed the mailbox.

Are you perhaps hitting the licensing limit? Mailstore ignores mailboxes when there's more than you have licenses for.

What error messages are you getting if any?

Sounds like an Enterprise Environment.
We are no business support!
Get in contact with the responsible vendor.


Du kamst bisher nur mit Business Cases um die Ecke, dafür ist dieses Forum nicht gedacht.

Und es ist wie im anderen Thread:
Irgendein Problem von der Arbeit ins Forum gerotzt und auch nie wieder reagiert danach.
 
Plötzlich die deutsche Sprache verlernt? Außerdem ist Business Support idR kostenpflichtig. Und wir sind ungern verantwortlich, wenn man Ende in deiner Firma alle Mailboxes archiviert sind.
Wende dich an ein Systemhaus, die helfen. 🔒
