Flight Simulator Take on Helicopters

Hallo Leute,

wollte mir das o.g. Helicopter Simulator über Steam kaufen. Leider gibts den nur in englischer Sprache. Wo und wie bekomme ich das Spiel komplett auf deutsch? Es scheint genau so gut zu sein wie DCS A-10C Warthog, nur für Helicopter :)

Sammeln und Info hier rein!

Kauf dir DCS Black Shark ... das ist die Ursprungsversion von DCS A10 für den KA-50 Heli
 
Freu mich auch auf das Game, werde es mir aber per Steam holen, wenn es im Angebot ist.

HOW TO INSTALL THE PATCH:

- Run the patch setup executable, which will apply the patch automatically.
- It will install the entire contents of the patch to a folder within your Take On Helicopters installation (the default is C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Take On Helicopters).
- Please note that it is not possible to rollback to a previous version after the installation of this patch; only a full reinstall of the game is possible. If you want to keep your previous version you may want to backup the entire game installation folder before applying this patch.
- It is not recommended to use any savegames created in previous versions (1.01).

Ich hab mal vor zwei Wochen die Demo angetestet. Mir erscheint es so, als hätte BIS da krampfhaft versucht aus der simplen Flugphysik von ArmA einen Simulator zu basteln. Dabei fliegt sich das Ding aber nur extrem empfindlich und wackelig. Und verglichen mit FSX und DCS: Black Shark (wo ich letzteres mal einfach als Referenz nehme) erscheint es mir dann doch zu unrealistisch.
 
Helifliegen im FSX ist NICHT realistisch, es sei denn, die ganze Flugberechnung wurde, z.B. wie beim Huey X, ausgelagert, und neu programmiert.
Generell ist aber nicht 100% Realismus, sondern ein gutes Fluggefühl ausschlaggebend. Oder meinste, die wollen damit nur die 0,1% Hardcoresimmer ansprechen?
 
Im BIF gibt es ein Language-Pack. Wer also deutsch, französich, spanisch oder italienisch möchte ... :D

Bohemia Interactive has released a major new patch for their latest game, Take On Helicopters.

Patch 1.04 – codenamed Cougar – refines the experience of flying across the wide variety of helicopter gameplay by implementing a massive upgrade to the flight model. It also brings an initial introduction to Java scripting and lifts all DRM-restrictions.

First up, the flight model (RotorLib by RTDynamics) has undergone some major revisions. Project Lead Joris-Jan van ‘t Land elaborates:

“The upgrade to version 4.0 of RotorLib is significant. It brings a more authentic flight experience to our gameplay. We’ve worked together with RTDynamics to overhaul things like fuselage and wing aerodynamics, as well as improve the handling of engine power and drive train torque calculations. Translating this to gameplay, our players will be challenged to re-master the handling of some of the helicopters, meaning the cargo-drop you achieved last week might be a whole different proposition now!”

The second highlight is the inclusion of Java scripting: a welcome addition for the more advanced mission-makers of the Take On Helicopters community. The widespread, proven and robust language offers loads of documentation and tutorials, helping to streamline the process of getting custom gameplay up and running. Joris-Jan van ‘t Land:

“This patch lets mod-makers use tools such as NetBeans and Eclipse for development and debugging, Object-Oriented programming architecture and design, much higher performance script execution and access to many standard Java libraries. Although this initial integration of Java scripting into Take On Helicopters is just the first step, we’re confident it’ll help our talented community to produce more robust gameplay more quickly.”

Last but not least, the update removes all DRM-restrictions. This means that people will no longer need to activate the game’s serial key online and the DVD will not need to be in the disk drive while playing.

The Steam version of Take On Helicopters will be updated automatically.
