Kurzer Hinweis, wer das Spiel genauso mochte damals und es gerne mal wieder spielen würde:

Es gibt seit einiger Zeit eine Mod, die das ganze Spiel an moderne Systeme anpasst, inklsuive Grafikfixes und Auflösungen bis zu 2560x1440 Pixel.

Systemvoraussetzungen:

- Minimum Windows XP SP3 (32 bit) or 32bit/64bit version of Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10. The required NET Framework version (4.0) will be installed automatically if you don't have it.
- Any version of Age of Empires Expansion: The Rise of Rome (this includes Age of Empires Gold or Collector's Edition). No previous game patches are needed.
- Proper installation of the game is required, otherwise the patch can't work. If you get an error ("Game not found"), reinstall the game.
- This patch is for Rise of Rome only, the original Age of Empires is not supported nor affected by the patch.

Aus allen 3 Spielreihen war das AoE2 und Conquerors das beste Spiel.
