Crysis 4: Crytek veröffentlicht ersten Teaser zum neuen Shooter
Das deutsche Entwicklerstudio Crytek hat soeben den ersten Teaser-Trailer zum vierten Teil seiner Science-Fiction-Ego-Shooter-Serie Crysis über Twitter und YouTube veröffentlicht. Über die chinesischen Video-Sharing-Plattform Bilibili bestätigte zuvor bereits Crytek China den Start des neuen Projektes.
Crytek China verrät Crysis 4 vorab
Während der erste Teaser-Trailer mit den beiden Statements „4“ sowie „Join the Journey. Become the Hero.“ noch einen gewissen Interpretationsspielraum bietet, machten die Entwickler von Crytek China die Sache wasserdicht.
Mit der klaren Aussage „The 'Crysis 4' Project is confirmed, opening a new nano Battlefield!“ bestätigt der chinesische Ableger des deutschen Entwicklerstudios die bis dahin offiziell noch ausstehende Ankündigung des Spiels.
Crysis 4, der Nachfolger des am 21. Februar 2013 erschienen Crysis 3 (Test), einem B-Movie, das seinerzeit eine tolle Grafikpracht bot, befindet sich in der Entwicklung.
Kurz darauf veröffentlichte Crytek über den eigenen YouTube-Kanal auch ein entsprechendes Video, das mit dem Titel „4th installment in the Crysis Franchise“ auch die letzten Zweifel beiseite wischte. Crysis 4, so der aktuelle Arbeitstitel, befindet sich offiziell in der Entwicklung.
Crytek sucht zudem aktuell Entwickler und bietet mehr als 25 offene Stellen für die Realisierung eines „nicht angekündigten Triple-A-Projektes“ an.
Echter „Next-Gen-Shooter“ befindet sich in der Entwicklung
Im offiziellen Blog des Entwicklerstudios hat sich Crytek-CEO Avni Yerli jetzt zu Wort gemeldet und Spielern einen „echten Next-Gen-Shooter“ in Aussicht gestellt, der sich zurzeit aber noch in einem „frühen Entwicklungsstadium“ befindet.
Crytek werde sicherstellen, „dass der nächste Teil der Reihe all [eure] Erwartungen erfüllt“. Mehr dazu werde zu gegebener Zeit über die offiziellen Kanäle des Entwicklers über die sozialen Netzwerke geteilt, so Avni Yerli.
