Game Update über Proton/Lutris

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe den FS25 über die ISO direkt vom Entwickler heruntergeladen und installiert.
Dazu habe ich Proton GE in Verbindung mit Lutris genutzt.
Das hat auch wunderbar funktioniert.
Nun kam über den Auto Updater des Spiels ein Update rein, welches ich gerne installieren würde.
Die Installation friert aber immer unter Linux (Zorin OS) ein.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung, woran das liegen könnte oder hatte das Problem auch schon einmal ?

Lutris Einstellungen :
Ausführbares : .exe Datei in drive c usw.
Argumente : STEAM_COMPAT_APP_ID=2300320
Arbeitsverzeichnis : Ordner in dem die .exe liegt
Wine Präfix : Alles genauso aber nur bis zum Ordner pfx

Im Log ist ersichtlich, dass nicht Proton GE verwendet wird, sondern Proton Experimental von Steam selbst. Das kann so nicht funktionieren, weil das normale Steam-Proton nicht einfach so von "Fremdprogrammen" ausgeführt werden kann.

Deswegen nutzt Lutris (und auch Heroic) im Hintergrund auch den UMU Launcher, wie man den ersten gut 100 Zeilen im Log sehen kann. Der ist nämlich genau dafür gedacht, um auch das Steam-Proton nutzen zu können.

This is a unified launcher for Windows games on Linux. It is essentially a copy of the Steam Runtime Tools and Steam Linux Runtime that Valve uses for Proton, with some modifications made so that it can be used outside of Steam.

Ich habe das Spiel vorher über Steam installiert und via Lutris gestartet.
Nun habe ich es deinstalliert und komplett über Lutris installiert.
Danach ging auch das Update durch.

Und genau mit diesem UMU-Launcher ist das Standard-Proton nicht kompatibel. Sondern man muss auf Varianten wie UMU-Proton (der Default), GE-Proton oder Proton-CachyOS zurückgreifen.

- PROTONPATH designates the full path to a specific proton version. Alternatively you can use value "GE-Proton" to auto-download and use the latest GE-Proton build. Defaults to UMU-Proton. (UMU-Proton is the latest stable version of Valve's proton tool with UMU compatibility added)

Und im Heroic Games Launcher kann ich auch für ein Spiel direkt das von Steam installierte Proton Experimental auswählen, wenn ich in den erweiterten Einstellungen vom Launcher die Verwendung von Steam-Proton zulasse.

Und im Heroic Games Launcher kann ich auch für ein Spiel direkt das von Steam installierte Proton Experimental auswählen, wenn ich in den erweiterten Einstellungen vom Launcher die Verwendung von Steam-Proton zulasse.
Funktioniert das denn dann? Es kann sein, dass Heroic da noch paar andere Sachen macht als nur den reinen UMU-Launcher zu benutzen.
