EM radiation is a real and very strong enviromental factor now and some really sensitive people can be affected by it.

If a person suffers some unexplicable health problems, I would look into them being negativelly affected by EM radiation.

If I was getting a computer for them, I would get one with properly shielded case and of course with internet connected by cable and not WIFI.

Ich würde auch ein unbeschichtetes Metallgehäuse empfehlen. Holz ist aus meiner Sicht nur unter bestimmten Umständen empfehlenswert. Holz ist gern mal lackiert, getränkt, etc. was bei Erwärmung zu Ausdünstungen führen kann. Gehäuse, die vollständig aus unbehandeltem Holz bestehen, sind mir nicht bekannt.

Thema unbeschichtetes Aluminium, eloxiertes Alu wäre woran ich denken würde dabei.

Bei dem bin ich mir nicht sicher, wie der von innen gemacht ist, muss ich sagen.
Also, ob das auch alles Alu ist, kann ich mir kaum denken.

Naja die meisten sehen schwarz eloxiert aus bzw. werden so beschrieben, dabei kommen z.T. auch organische Farbstoffe zum Einsatz. Muss nicht heißen dass es unverträglich ist, aber ist nicht 100% Alu Oberfläche. Echtes Glas ist sicher weniger ein Problem, aber das Lian Li hier sieht hinten/innen nicht nach Alu aus.

So ein altes Lian Li (Lian Li PC-V351 z.B.) sieht wirklich nach Alu eloxiert plus viel Edelstahl aus (rein vom glänzenden Aussehen her gefolgert, hatte nie eins). Edelstahl als Material wäre super safe für Allergiker denke ich.

PC case manufacturers completely forgot about EMC, it is hard to explain, completely dumb and irrational decision. It is very had to find a case without window now and even cases without window are not properly shielded anymore.

This decision is even dumber in todays air full of EM radiation, when even fridges and washing machines for some reason come equipped with WIFI.

If you want EMC compliant case, you need to get some old case or get some case intended for a server.

Recently I disassembled a HP case for a tower server and it was beutifully shielded. It felt like a crime to throw it away, sadly it was intended for server PSUs.
