Gibt es für mein Monitor neue Treiber?

Hallo,

Gibt es für meinen PROVIEW Monitor neue Treiber? Der müsste schon 3Jahre alt sein. Ich weiss nicht welchen TYP ich hab weil nur der Herrsteller auf dem Monitor steht und WINXP nur einen PnP Monitor installiert hat...

Bringt das überhaupt irgend was? Ich hab zwar Treiber und Farbprofile für meinen Bildschirm, aber benutzen bzw installiert habe ich sie nicht.

DDC INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

* If your display adapter and driver support DDC monitors, the monitor will be automatically detected and installed as a "VESA DDC compatible monitor" by Windows 95/98/2000/ME at startup.
* Specify the path to the INF file locate at C:\PROVIEW and press the <ENTER> key:
* The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Select the monitor that corresponds to the one you connected to your machine and click OK.
* Windows 95/98/2000/ME will copy the INF file to the proper directories on your system.
* Continue choosing Close until you close the Display Properties dialog box.
* Reboot your Computer.

Danke Erik, aber alle treiber sind für Win98, und für WinXP hat er keine gefunden...

danke, aber irgendwie, sagt mir WINXP das es kein passenden treiber installieren will... naja, es geht ja auch so, ich dachte nur ich könnte vielleicht meine Hertz zahlen aufpolieren...

Die wenigsten Displaytreiber sind von Microsoft zertifiziert, daher werden sie in der Auswahl auch nicht angezeigt.

Muss man also manuell auswählen (die Datei).
