Guten Tag !

Ich bitte um einen Rat:

Ich nutze hier u.a. Gigabyte GA-8PE800-L. Vor einigen Tagen wurde ein 256er-Arbeitsspeicher von "Infineon" ausgetauscht gegen einen von "Samsung" mit dem
Modulnamen M3/68L6523CUS-CCC.
Ich habe den Eindruck, daß der PC nun nach der Änderung "lahmer" geworden ist.:o

Ist der neue Speicher für das Motherboard "passend"? Die QVL-Listen von Gigabyte finde ich leider nicht mehr auf deren Homepage.

Ich kenn die Liste zwar auch nicht genau, da Samsung aber meines Wissens selber Chips Produziert und diese also sehr häufig wiederzufinden sind, sollten sie eig. mit fast jedem Board kompatibel sein.

Es könnte sein, dass du einen schwächeren Riegel eingebaut hat, dies macht sich für den Anwender selbst aber meist nicht bemerkbar. Wieso tauscht du denn einen Infineon gegen Samsung? Infineons waren bei mir immer am zuverlässigsten und leistungsstärksten.
 
Ja, es gibt noch einiges an Beständen - z.b. bei http://www3.hardwareversand.de/8Vr98Fa2KTNjNu/3/articlelist.jsp?agid=441&profil.smal=2 . In der tat nennt sich das ganze nun Qimonda bzw. Aeneon (wurde geteilt).

Warum du deinen Infineon getauscht hast weiß ich leider immer noch nicht - hat er den geist aufgegeben? Wie auch immer, es könnte an mehreren Dingen liegen, dass der RAM wirklich oder "gefühlt" langsamer läuft. Du könntest z.b. mit CPU-Z Prüfen mit welchen Einstellungen der Ram läuft. Es handelt sich nämlich um eine PC 3200er und dein Board Supportet max 2700er Ram.

Wenn du mehr Leistung als vorher möchtest, würde dir wohl nur ein Upgrade auf 512MB wirklich etwas bringen. Für knapp 30€ bekommst du z.b. auch bei Hwversand die Optimale Leistung für dich. Hier ist nur die Frage, kannst du den Samsung noch zurückgeben und vorallem wie lange nutzt du den PC noch - Lohnt es sich überhaupt?
 
Ich bitte nochmals um einen Rat. Hier die mir als Nichtfachmann wichigen Daten der Speicher.

Der Infineon(bisher): 256MB/DDR/333/CL 2,5
Samsung(neu): 412MB/DDR,SDRAM/PC3200(200MHZ)

Arbeiten beide unterschiedlich ?

Zuletzt bearbeitet:
Arbeitsspeicher arbeiten eig. immer alle gleich ;) Noch einmal, dein Board Supported nur maximal 333MHz Ram. Der neue Samsung kann aber bis 400MHz und er hat 512MB - das sind die einzigen Leistungsrelevanten Unterschiede. Lade dir doch bitte wie gesagt CPU-Z (findest du auf CB in den Downloads) und schaue mit welchen Einstellungen er derzeit läuft. Hier steht nur noch einmal die Maximal mögliche Bandbreite. Dies macht zwar i.d.R. maximal 10% aus, aber es soll durchaus Menschen geben, die so etwas merken ;)
 
So, nun habe ich CPU-Z geladen.

Ich finde an der hoffentlich richtigen Stelle einen Wert von ca. 137 Mhz. Kann ich ihn auf ca. 400 Mhz erhöhen ?
Kann ich die Ergebnisse von CPU-Z hier einstellen ?

Der Ram läuft also mit 266Mhz (134,7*2) und den niedrigsten möglichen Timings für dein Ram. Laut Gigabyte sollte er aber mit 333Mhz auch laufen. Also im Bios von 266 auf 333Mhz bzw. von 134Mhz auf 166Mhz Anheben. Sollte dir dein Pc danach immer noch langsamer vorkommen, evtl mal Festplatte formatieren.

Hmm, ich glaub mit STRG + F1 kam man bei Gigabyte ins Erweiterte Bios, das dürfte hier allerdings wohl nicht helfen. Der Wert lässt sich weder mit +/- , noch mit Enter/Return verändern? Da kann ich dir leider auch nicht helfen, wenn sich hier sonst keiner meldet, müsstest du evtl. einen neuen Thread aufmachen - wenn du es nicht selbst hin bekommst.
 
Ja, ich versteh das auch nicht. Aber ich kann auch mit dem o.a. Befehl den Wert nicht
ändern.

Ich habe hier ein AWARD-Bios, Version F8 vom 9.12.2003.

Ich habe aber nun festgestellt, daß im BIOS die Werte für "Bus Speed" und "Multiplier" nicht passend zum Motherboard eingestellt waren. Nach der Änderung ist die Performance des PC verbessert worden.
