HTC Location

Zur Info: Die App HTC Location gibt es in einer neuen Version. Sie erlaubt das komplette Herunterladen der Karten zur vollständigen Offline-Navigation.
Zur Qualität der Navigation kann ich mangels Nutzung noch nichts sagen, aber Nokia verliert damit sein Navigations-Alleinstellungsmerkmal.

PS: Ich bin Umsteiger, falls das ne uralte Info ist, bitte vom Moderator einfach löschen lassen

So alt ist sie nicht, die Lösung ist aber nur 30 Tage kostenlos

Bitte bitte, das wäre eine schöne Sache, wenn das funktionieren würde. Zwar läst sich auch mit Google Maps ganz gut navigieren, aber der Traffic ist mit der Zeit doch schon recht groß... :/

Ja die 30 Tage sind bestätigt, bei XDA u.ä. haben die ersten schon bestätigt dass nach 30 Tagen schluss ist (ohne zahlen)

Thank you for taking the time to contact HTC email tech support.

I will be glad to provide you with some more information on the Locations update Tom. I do want to let you know, that HTC does not charge for the Location service. That being said there maybe charges depending on what is downloaded. These charges are paid to ROUTE 66, not HTC.

If you are just looking for a Map, then after you open the Location application, then tap the ... option in the bottom right of the screen and select Download Maps, you can download maps for free, like Germany. If you are looking for Navigation, you can select Get More under the ... option. These may have charges.
