link: 790GX problem mit Windows XP? noch aktuell?

hey leute!

wollte mal fragen,.. wie aktuell folgendes problem ist,..

geht im groben darum: (790gx chipsatz hat probs im 2d modus,.. vorallem bei firefox,.. NUR unter XP)

hat jemand ein 790gx board und windows xp installiert?
habe meine hardware momentan bei der post sitzen,.. überlege es zurückzuschicken, falls das problem wirklich so ist.

wie sieht der stand aus? wurde das durch irgendwelche treiber behoben?

finde dazu nichts

I am an owner of a Gigabyte 790GX GA-MA790GP-DS4H board - it was bought to surf in mainly Internet machine with the occasional game in between under Windows XP.

Now I read reports, posts about the miserable performance of the integrated graphic solution under Windows XP in 2D. Most visible in Firefox and web pages using much flash.

The problem does not exist under Windows Vista!

The general opinion is, that it is possible caused by a flaw in the VGA Bios of the chip sets. AMD should be aware of that and has provided a fix..

Is that true!?

What VGA Bios version does cure the issue?

Mit den neuen Treibern läuft es bei manchen besser bei manchen noch schlechter.

Empfehle daher immer einen Geforce Chipsatz wenn Onboard-Grafik gesucht wird.

Mein 790GX Board läuft momentan mit dem Cat. 9.4 ruckelt nur minimal
