hallo! habe seit gut einer woche das problem das mein rechner immer wieder abstürzt und dann neu bootet. hab in der ereignisanzeige nachgesehen und diesen fehler entdeckt "Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Processor-Power"

hab schon alle möglichen updates von windows drauf und auch treiber aktualisiert. aktuelles bios ist auch drauf.

mein system:
system: vista home premium sp1(32bit)
prozi: athlon 64x2 6400+
board: asrock alive xfire-esata2 r3.0
ram: corsair ??? (4gb)
graka: ati x3870 (512mb)

es steht ja da das es ein firmwareproblem sei aber ich finde nichts weiter an treibern und updates bei amd oder asrock.

hoffe es kann mir einer helfen -- danke schon mal!

Scheint ein BIOS Bug zu sein bei dir.
Die Unterstützung deines BIOS im Bezug auf die ACPI Power-Modi S1/S3/S4 ist wohl fehlerhaft.
Frag vlt. mal dazu bei AsRock nach einem BIOS Update an. Möglicherweise gibts ja eines.

Eine richtige/definitive Lösung dazu gibts wohl nicht allenthalben passiert dieser Fehler offensichtlich bei vor allem älteren Mainboards.
Auswirkungen hat er seit SP1 soweit ich gelesen hab keine, nur Stromsparen via ACPI Sleep Modi geht wohl dann nicht bzw. möglicherweise auch kein SpeedStep & CnQ.

Ich quote den mal (hoffe du kannst bissel englisch, aber der war für mich Englischkönner am verständlichsten:

According to that event log event, thread 80 in the system process (ProcessID 4) did something (scheduled a DPC, called a power state function, something along those lines) that caused the system to disable (in code) certain power management features that your processor exposes to the OS that it supports, but Windows has determined that attempting these functions will cause system instability or worse, hardware problems.
I would contact the server vendor for microcode updates (if available) for the CPU, and perhaps a BIOS upgrade as well. If there aren't any, perhaps you should have them investigate these issues on their end to see if they can find the potential hardware problem.
