MSN: Kann keine Mails mehr versenden obwohl ich noch empfangen kann!

Hallo,

das Problem betrifft beides, Thunderbird und emClient, beides bekomme ich Mails bei msn.com nicht mehr versendet, wohl aber kann ich nach wie vor empfangen. Wenn ich Mails versenden möchte, muss ich immer über Browser gehen, da kann ich noch Mails versenden, nicht aber bei emClient oder Thunderbird. Das hatte ich in der Vergangenheit noch nie, seit 3 Tage habe ich das Problem obwohl ich nichts daran geändert habe. Hab auch schon versucht Passwort zu ändern, ohne Erfolg. An das falsche Passwort kann ja nicht liegen, sonst würde ich keine Mails mehr empfangen können was hier nicht der Fall ist!
Ich habe folgende Daten wie hier erläutert übernommen, IMAP und SMTP

MSN

Wie gesagt, ich kann nach wie vor empfangen, nur nicht mit dem Maiprogramm wie emClient oder Thunderbird versenden! Wenn ich versenden möchte, muss ich immer unter www.outlook.de auf Browser gehen. Danke für eure Unterstützung!

Laut deinem eigenen Text solltest du doch die Sicherheitsrichtlinie auf STARTTLS stellen...
Evtl. ist es das dann schon.

Danke, leider kann ich nicht auf StartTLS umstellen , unterstützt emClient nicht?

Ich hab zwar kein MSN/Outlook.com-Konto in meinem Thunderbird drin, könnte aber STARTTLS bei SMTP-Server auswählen.

Bei Thunderbird konnte ich auf StartTLS umstellen, siehe da. Es hat funktioniert. Komisch, scheinbar hat MS vor kurzem auf STARTTLS umgestellt. Nur doof, dass es bei emCLIENT nicht funktioniert und StartTLS nicht untersützt.

STARTTLS ist ein Protokoll aus der Steinzeit, das sollte man eh nicht mehr benutzen. Wenn ein moderner Client das nicht mehr unterstützt, ist das ganz normale technische Evolution. Man muss den Legacy Kram ja nicht ewig in der Codebasis mitschleppen.

Jeder vernünftige Email-Provider bietet mittlerweile TLS auf Port 465. Wenn der eigene das nicht unterstützt, würde ich mir einen anderen suchen.

Verstehe, komisch nur, dass MSN bis vor paar Tage einwandfrei funktionierte, auch mit emClient. Warum auf einmal jetzt nicht mehr? Bei emClient war vorher immer SSL/TLS erzwingen eingestellt, lief ja ohne Probleme!

Vielleicht Drittanbieter-Virenscanner installiert, die den Mailversand behindern, weil sie sich dazwischen klinken? Wenn ja, welche?

Nachtrag: Ich habe es jetzt mal selbst getestet, unter Linux, also ohne Störendes dazwischen. Es funktioniert (derzeit?) nur noch mit dem veralteten STARTTLS.

Danke für eure Infos, na dann muss Microsoft mal wach werden, v.a. bewerben sie immer Office365 aber es wird noch STARTTLS verwendet
Tja, jetzt muss ich wohl emClient runterwerfen, dabei hat es aber bis vor 3-4 Tagen immer funktioniert. Mit Thunderbird kann ich mich nicht so wirklich anfreunden.

Wäre gut, wenn du mich am lfd. halten würdest , hab leider nicht geschafft, nutze auch z.Zt. über Browser oder Thunderbird!
Hab schon nach Alternativen geschaut, ich denke außer Thunderbird gibt es keine echte Alternative.
