PCI-e USB 3.0 Karte

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mir eine USB 3.0 Karte geholt und wollte diese nun einbauen. Gesagt getan, aber wenn ich dann hochfahre lädt nur die Shell über das ich mich einloggen kann, der Unity Desktop lädt nicht. Also überhaupt kein GUI. Stecke ich die Karte wieder aus, läuft alles wieder normal.

Ich habe folgendes MB: GA-M56S-S3 mit einem PCIe 1.1 Steckplatz. Die USB Karte ist eine PCIe 2.0er Karte. Laut meinen Recherchen, ist PCIe 2.0 aber vollständig abwärtskompatibel lediglich mit geringerer Bandbreite.

ich habe in der Shell mit dem Befehl "lspci" folgende Ausgabe bekommen:

Die USB Karte wird also erkannt.
Habe dann versucht die GUI per Hand zu starten und bekam folgende Ausgabe:

Garnichts. Ich hab nur die Karte in den PCI Steckplatz gesteckt.

Entferne ich sie, läuft alles wieder normal...

was sagt denn lspci zur AMD Karte ?

dementsprechend muss /etc/X11/xorg.conf

oder /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/

und eine der Dateien dahinter angepasst werden

soviel mal in der Theorie


jedenfalls glaube ich, dass ich auch mal sowas ähnliches hatte
