Thanks for updating me on this issue. If the game still will not run, unfortunately, I have no further suggestions for you at this time. We have exhausted all of the standard troubleshooting which can be done remotely, and at this point the game should be running properly but is not. This could be due to a hardware incompatibility, which we are not aware of, or simply an issue that was overlooked due to the nature of this correspondence. If you continue to troubleshoot your machine on your own and solve the problem, please drop us a line.
If you wish to return the game, here is your warranty information:
More then likely the store you bought it at will not accept the return because the box has been opened. In this case, you can send the game back to our Warranty department and we will give you a sealed copy of the game so that the store will accept the return.

There are programs running on your system that may be interfering with the game. These programs are called processes and are not the same as background applications and tasks. These programs will come back next time you restart your computer but by ending them, we can determine whether or not the issue lies with a software conflict. Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time. This will bring up the "Task Manager", follow the steps below in order:
1) Click the "Processes" tab.
2) Click on the gray bar that says User Name, this will sort the processes by user name.
3) DO NOT select anything for SYSTEM, LOCAL SERVICE, or NETWORK SERVICE.
4) Close every process running under your user name EXCEPT "taskmgr.exe and explorer.exe".
5) Simply highlight the process and choose "end process". (*note* You can only end 1 process at a time)
6) Once all processes are closed under your user name EXCEPT "taskmgr.exe and explorer.exe" then you're done closing background tasks.
Don't worry that you are permanently changing your system configuration; these applications will return when you restart your system.
If you receive a warning for any of these, don't worry it is a standard warning message and is expected. Please click "yes" and continue.
You will want to download the AGP Driver update for the SiS Motherboard in the computer.
Go to:
http://download.sis.com
- Select Chipset, then AGP (GART) Driver, then the version of Windows you are using.
Be mindful of the Install instructions that SiS recommends.
If the trouble continues, you may want to try the settings on the following site:
http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4219.html
Although it does not apply fully to the video card, it does apply to the Motherboard and may need to be set with the options listed.

i have to add this:
i mean, i have deactivated the secondery mode succesfully but the game does not work
Customer 10/08/2004 07:47 AM
hi,
it does not work!

i have tried it with deactivating and uninstalling the secondary mode!
also i have tried this again with original ati drivers and omega drivers, but it does not work!
is there any chance left, that the game will run on my system?
Response (Box Robert M.) 10/07/2004 05:11 PM
Thanks for contacting EASPORTS Technical Support. The All-in-Wonder cards are usually equipped with a secondary display setting (usually for TV-out display). Our games to not support dual display, so that may be causing the crash. Check to make sure that you do not have dual displays enabled. You can check this in your device manager.
To do this, Right Click on your MY COMPUTER icon and choose PROPERTIES from the drop down menu. Then Click on the DEVICE MANAGER tab in this window. In this window you should see a listing of devices. The first one that we are looking for is Display Adapters. Click on the + to the left of Display Adapters and that will bring out a couple entries under there. If you see the secondary display here, right-click on it and disable it.
Then start up the game again.

hi, as an atachement the dxdiag!
Response (Box Richard A.) 10/06/2004 12:56 PM
Hello,
Thank you for contacting EA technical support. I am sorry that you are having difficulty.
In order to best troubleshoot your issue, I'm going to need some more system information. Can you send me the information from a program called dxdiag.exe. To do this:
1. Go to Start -> Run.
2. In the box, type the following: dxdiag
3. Hit "OK"
4. Click the "Save All Information" button on the first screen of the application.
5. Then on top of the "Save As" box that pops up, click the arrow just to the right of the "Save In" box, and select Desktop, then click Save.
6. Finally, attach the dxdiag.txt to your email reply.
After we receive this file we can continue troubleshooting the issues at hand and hopefully come to a solution.
