Ich bekomme diese Fehlermeldung bei der Installation von Windows 7 (gegen Ende, nach dem Systemneustart) auf einem Dell Studio 1555.

Das setuperr.log sieht so aus:

Laut Microsoft KB 2466753 könnte das ein Problem mit fehlerhaften SATA-Treibern sein, allerdings sprechen drei Punkte dagegen:
1. Die Fehlermeldungen in meiner setuperr.log stimmen nicht überein
2. Ich installieren von einer Windows 7 32bit SP1 ISO (via USB Stick), da sollte das Problem behoben sein
3. Ich habe bei der Installation die empfohlenen Intel-Treiber in verschiedenen Versionen geladen - gleicher Fehler.

Auf der Treiber-Seite von Dell gibt es die aktuelle Version zwar nicht, aber Windows hat die neueren Treiber dennoch als kompatibel eingestuft.
Jetzt weiß ich nicht weiter... das einzige exakte Suchergebnis zu meinem errorlog ist eine finnische Seite, deren Inhalt ich nicht ganz verstehe, ansonsten... kein Windows 7. Jetzt installiere ich wieder das mitgelieferte Vista und schau ob wenigstens das läuft.

Wenn Du AHCI im BIOS aktiviert hast, dann deaktiviere es.

Sicher? AHCI hat ja ein paar sinnvolle Vorteile und so.... aber ich probiers mal

Da hab ich ein paar schlechte Erfahrungen gehabt, so viel ich weiß, bootet Windows nicht mehr, wenn man auf IDE installiert hat und dann auf AHCI umstellt. Aber vielleicht hat sich da ja was geändert?

Das BIOS hatte ich auch erst verdächtigt, ist aber mittlerweile auf dem aktuellsten Stand.

Setup im IDE modus produziert den selben Fehler...

Da gibt es eine Registry-Einstellung, die man vor der BIOS Änderung machen muß.

Ist ein Schuss ins Blaue, aber evtl. stimmt das Alignment nicht. Hast du (alle) Partitionen vorher gelöscht und neu formatiert?

Eventuell ist auch das Installationsmedium ein Problem. Wurde der USB Stick mit dem MS Tool erzeugt?

Die Platte ist eine Toshiba von 2009, 250gb, könnte also gut sein.
Der USB Stick wurde nicht mit dem MS Tool erzeugt, ich will ihn aber auch nicht formatieren. Könnte es echt daran liegen? Ich könnte das ISO auch mal auf DVD brennen... aber wirklich? Das Setup läuft ja durch, der Fehler kommt erst nachdem man das Installationsmedium gar nicht mehr braucht.

Hat der Lappi noch eine OEM-Partition?

Ein anderes Installationsmedium, am besten DVD, solltest du aber auch probieren. Einfach um es auszuschließen.

Die OEM-Partition hab ich schon gelöscht, und eine DVD brennen und dann von da installieren ist mir jetzt zu aufwändig. Ich hab Windows 7 32 und 64 bit vom USB Stick versucht, jedes mal mit dem selben Fehler in der abschließenden Setup-Phase.
Jetzt kriegt der Rechner wieder Vista, das installiert problemlos und dann war's das. Genug Zeit verschwendet...

Es könnte der erste Fehler sein.

Also die Partition wurde in irgendeiner Weise verändert, so dass kein Dateizugriff möglich ist. Das würde natürlich zu dem SATA-Treiber-Problem passen... Nur waren aktuellere Treiber ja leider auch nicht die Lösung.

Ein Threading-Problem? Deadlock? Da müsste ja in Windows 7 ganz schön der Wurm drin stecken, wenn so etwas den Start des Betriebssystems blockiert...

Interessante Daten, aber was damit anfangen?
