Ich bin zufällig auf diesen Server gestoßen. Es klingt interessant, man kann ein paar Lieder hochladen und die Playlist an Freunde schicken. Praktisch vor allem, weil bei youtube immer mehr Lieder verschwinden. Hat jemand Erfahrung mit soundcloud? Kann man da Probleme kriegen, wenn man urheberrechtlich geschützte Musik hochlädt?

Punkt 2 könnte für dich interessant sein! Ansonsten kann man generell sagen, dass man mit urheberrechtlich geschützen Inhalten äußerste Vorsicht walten lassen sollte. Vor allem dann wenn man diese anderen Nutzern im Internet zugänglich macht.

Soundcloud hat absolut nichts mit Seiten wie Rapidshare usw. zutun.

Wikipedia beschreibt das folgendermassen:

SoundCloud ist eine Online-Plattform zum Verteilen von Audiodateien. Sie hilft Musikern zusammenzuarbeiten, zu werben und ihre Musik zu verteilen.
Eine Hauptfunktion von SoundCloud ist, dass Künstler ihre Musik zum Download bereitstellen können. So kann die Musik auch in andere Webseiten eingebunden und zum Beispiel mit Twitter genutzt werden. Im Gegensatz dazu erlaubt MySpace nur das Anhören auf der Webseite selbst.

Es ist wenn man so will eine Social Plattform speziell für Musiker.
