Suche: neuestes BIOS für die Kyro1/2

Vor längerer Zeit wurde von PowerVR die BIOS-Version 1.02.00.0029 veröffentlicht, welches ich auch besitze und auch ganz gut funktioniert. Auslieferungszustand aller Kyro-Karten die ich bisher in Händen hielt (InnoVision, Hercules...) war Version 1.107.

Nun suche ich irgendwo einen Link, wo eine neuere BIOS-Version zu finden ist.

Ich hab bisher nur ein Bios für Vivid!XS gefunden.
Kann man das auch mit der Hercules nutzen?
Da gibts nämlich keins!
Oder kann man ein bios von PowerVR benutzen, wenns das gibt?

da bis auf die Club3D imo alle Kyro-Karten auf dem PowerVR-Referenzdesign beruhen sollte es keine Probleme geben.

So, das Update funzte erstmal problemlos, da es sich um das Referenz-BIOS handelt

Ich habs erstmal nur mit meiner InnoVision Kyro2 64MB TV-Out probiert und es klappte ganz einwandfei

Würd mich nämlich interessieren ob es sich auch für mich lohnen würde

na das, was einem ne neue BIOS-Version eben immer so bringt.

In allererster Linie eine neue Versionsnummer beim Booten.

Seit dem Release-BIOS (1.107) wurden aber jede Menge Bugs gefixt. Die 1.02.00.0029 sollte man also schon drauf haben.

Unified BIOS build acts on the Info held in the Info table. Old settings for the SSDev ID have been translated into default devices. Use BioEdit to change them if not suitable.

The default devices are:
Kyro I SIL 154 FPD, the chrontel 7004 and the BT835 video in decoder

Kyro II Chrontel 7010 for TV and FPD, and BT835 for video in.
BIOSes with not devices defined should be built with a SSDevID of 0000.
