Windows Update spinnt mal wieder

Hallo zusammen,

ehrlich gesagt habe ich keine Lust das Problem ewig zu beschreiben, weils einfach so ätzend ist.

Vor <1 Jahr habe ich Win7 (Pro/SP1) neu installiert, mit komplett formatierter Platte usw. Ich dachte danach funktioniert alles super. Pustekuchen! Windows Update sucht und sucht, kann Updates nicht installieren.
Irgendwie hat es dann letzten Endes doch funktioniert, fragt mich nicht woran es gelegen hat (es wurden aber auch nicht alle Updates installiert)

Vorgestern: 24 neue Updates, versucht runterzuladen. Nach 1h immer noch 0kb,0% im Log geguckt und folgende fehler gefunden: 0x8024000C und 0x80070057, leider weiß ich nicht mehr in welchem zusammenhang da log gelöscht wurde.

Was habe ich versucht:

Etliche ''Repair Tools'' von MS ausprobiert ->nichts gebracht
Befehle wie wuauserv neustarten oder DataStore Ordner zu löschen, Einträge in der Registry zu löschen brachten auch keinen erfolg.
Genauso wie Proxy Einstellungen in IE auszumachen

Jetzt, da Windows Update zurückgesetzt wurde und er (nicht) neue Updates sucht, weiß ich nicht mehr weiter.
Ich habe ganz sicher keine Lust das System neu aufzusetzen, da zu viel Aufwand z.Z.

mMn steht da nichts im Log oder? Ehrlich gesagt kenne ich mich auch nicht so gut damit aus..

ich weiß nicht ob es in deinem fall weiterhilft, aber ich hatte
auch etliche probleme mit windows updates, nach neuinstallationen mit OEM Versionen.

mir haben update packs damals weitergeholfen, nach denen das normale update wieder funktioniert hat.

Dieses Problem hatte ich auch. Seit Mai wollte Windows keine Updates mehr runterladen. Selbst nach stunden jand da immernoch 0%.
Hab aber nicht im Log geschaut was dort steht.
Bin bei meiner suche nach einer Lösung auf dieses Tool gestoßen und hab es mal damit probiert.
Hab es als Admin gestartet, durchlaufenlassen und anschließend Windows Update ausgeführt. Und es funktionierte wieder. Da stand zwar nachdem das Tool fertig war ich soll windows neustarten, hab ich aber nicht getan.

Die 0% Anzeige im DL-Fenster kannst du getrost ignorieren. Das ist schon eine ganze weile so, das bei mehreren Updates auf einmal die Anzeige bei 0% bleibt, bis sich der Update entscheidet mal mitzuteilen, das ein großer oder der komplette Kram heruntergeladen wurde.

Es ist aber auch noch unbekannt, welche Tools das ganze verschlimmbessert haben und dementsprechend der Updater sich ewig einen absucht, wo denn nun was zu finden sei. Im Zweifel mit installiertem SP1 das Updatepacket von winfuture nehmen oder das Convenience Update. Beide von Hand und dann sollte der Windows Updater auch wieder aktuell sein.

Bedenke, das eine Updatesuche mittlerweile locker 250 Updates überprüft, ob sie da sind, ob sie installiert sind usw. Das Dauert, besonders weil die Updateserver wohl stark gedrosselt wurden, was die Reaktionszeiten angeht.

Dein Problem kenne ich auch und habe mir mit WSUS Offline Updates weitergeholfen. Das Tool lädt dir die Updates herunter, damit du sie später offline (in deinem Fall eben sofort) installieren kannst oder die Updates in einem USB-Stick packen kannst und sie deinem ratlosem Freund aufsetzen kannst. Ganz schön praktisch und funktioniert viel besser als Microsofts blöde Lösung!

WSUS offline hatte ich auch benutzt.
Alles manuell installiert und danach war das mit den restlichen Updates kein Problem mehr.

Also ich habe jetzt das neueste Updatepack von winfuture und die neuste Version vom Updater ausprobiert und der sucht sich immer noch zu tode. Versuche jetzt das KB3161647 zu installieren.

Währenddessen lese ich mich in das WSUS offline update ein. Danke für die Links und die Hilfe

Er sucht sich nicht zu tode, es braucht nur ewig. Selbst wenn du ein superduperhighspeedgigahyper-pc hättest.

Ihr müsst vor der manuellen Installation von Updates die Suche im Hintergrund beenden. Automatische Updates auf "Nie nach Updates" suchen einstellen und Windows neu starten.
