Z690 UD doesn't boot with CSM enabled

Hi, so I updated my setup and got a i7 12700k with a Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4 mainboard bios already updated to F5A (latest)
My main monitor is connected via DP to my Nvidia GPU and my second monitor via HDMI to my mainboard/intel gpu.

In the Bios are a few settings which I would need to use but those are only available with CSM enabled.

But as soon as I enable CSM issues will start, I can boot into windows 1 max 2 times and after that I will get stuck in a Blackscreen with a blinking underscore on the top left.
If I try to get into the bios then I will stuck in a blackscreen afer hitting DEL, mouse/keyboard are active and the monitor is black screening, not in idle.
But I won't get a image of the Bios, aftr that I have to pull out the mainboard battery, reset bios and then continue without CSM to use my pc again.

Is there any fix, reason or ideas you guys have?

May I ask which Features are only available with CSM? Perhaps there is a workaround, so you can use UEFI only.

CSM is a relict and there should be no need with modern hardware like your system.

Oh, and which Nvidia Card do you have? RTX 3000 Series does not support CSM anymore.

Kurios, Anno Domini 2015 hat er noch sehr gut deutsch können, kein gelerntes oder übersetztes deutsch.
Mysteriös, bin schon auf die "Erklärung" gespannt.

Thats the catch, you cannot use CSM with the Intel integrated graphics (also the 11th Gen Intel does not support this !) and if you have a 3000 Series Nvidia you cannot use CSM either.
Only chance is to disable integrated graphics and use a graphics card that still supports CSM if its really
needed.

Initial Display output, resizeable bar for nvdia and also secure boot is only configureable with CSM enabled.
I have a RTX 3080ti, I need the Initial display output for my Linux KVM GPU passthrough setup and resizeablebar for the perfomance boost on my main windows boot.

@IsaacClarke hab mein Post nur aus dem Gigabyte Forum copy pasted, spreche immernoch Deutsch Dachte mir wer sich mit den Bios settings auskennt, spricht so oder so fließend Englisch und kann dem folgen

Das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Alles Features die nur mit CSM off funktionieren. Und Initial Display Output wird, wenn nicht einstellbar, immer PCIe und dann iGPU sein, was ja so völlig ok ist.

STRG+F & dann CSM suchen, diese Optionen sind nur mit CSM an. Das mit dem PCIe und dann iGPU muss für die Linux KVM genau anders rum sein

Wie ich oben schon geschrieben habe, Intel-Grafik ab 11th Gen und Nvidia 3000-Serie gehen nun mal
nicht mit CSM, kannst ja mal versuchen ohne Grafikkarte mit nur der onBoard Grafik CSM zu enablen,
viel Spaß damit

Da die 3080 Ti eh kein Hybrid Bios mehr hat, funktioniert CSM damit sowieso nicht mehr.

Ne, diese Optionen sind nur mit CSM an konfigurierbar, weil ohne CSM immer die jeweilige UEFI Einstellung gilt. Das ist ein Unterschied.

Das mit dem Initial Display Output ist dann natürlich blöd, aber CSM ist mit der Hardware nicht mehr.

Kleines Update, die F5a bios version ist eine Beta version und noch verbuggt scheinbar. Wurde halt auf Gigabyte Seite nicht wirklich explizit so beschrieben Hab jetzt downgraded auf den Launch driver und dort funkt jetzt Resizeable bar etc fine.
