2 Monitore bei x1950xtx Crossfire?

Moin ihr Nachtschwärmer und an alle anderen guten Morgen/Tag!

Also ich hab da ne kleine Frage. Ein Kumpel hat sich aus Jux günstig ein altes x1950-Crossfire-Gespann besorgt. So ums mal auszuprobieren. Hat dabei aber nicht bedacht, dass dieses oldschool-crossfire ja nicht über ne Brücke, sondern über ein Kabel am Bildschirm/Crossfire-Anschluss funktioniert.
Problem ist jetzt, dass er 2 Bildschirme hat und natürlich auch beide gerne dran anschließen möchte (der eine ist quasi ne Desktoperweiterung, also nicht 2 mal das gleich Bild).

Frage nun: Funktioniert das überhaupt?

Bei Windows XP und Windows 7 ja - du brauchst nur noch eine weitere Grafikkarte. Bei Windows Vista bzw. nur mit diesen zwei Karten wird es nicht funktionieren - DualMonitor geht nur, wenn Crossfire deaktiviert wurde. Bei nVidia ist das immerhin auch nicht anders - SLI funktioniert ebenfalls nur mit einem Monitor.

SLI funktioniert mittlerweile mit Multi-Mon, CF nach wie vor nicht.

also, wenn das so stimmt, müsste seit einer ganzen weile crossfire mit 2 monitoren möglich sein
