Best monitor choice for 24/7 NVR & CCTV surveillance use?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from the community. We regularly work on IT and security setups where CCTV cameras are connected to an NVR, and these systems need a reliable monitor for 24/7 operation.

I've noticed that while regular consumer monitors and TVs can work, they often don't hold up well under constant usage — sometimes image quality degrades, or the panel develops issues over time.

Questions:

• Do you recommend going for a surveillance-grade monitor specifically designed for continuous operation?
• Or are high-quality IPS/VA PC monitors still reliable enough for 24/7 surveillance display?
• Any brands/models you've had good long-term experience with for this kind of setup?

I'm asking because I want to make sure future projects have stable displays without needing frequent replacements.
