CMS Installation (PHP Probleme - Hoster: Strato)

Heyho Leute,

Ich habe jetzt auf meinem Webspace mal versucht, ein CMS zu installieren, bekomme es aber noch nicht so ganz hin.

Folgendes ist die Situation:
Hoster:Strato (BasicWebXL mit PHP, FTP, MySQL und allem, was ich eigentlich brauche)
CMS soll installiert werden in : www.meinedomain.de/cms (muss ja erstmal getestet werden und via xampp und localhost zu installieren da blick ich nicht durch, ist ja auch egal)

Das verwendete CMS sollte eigentlich egal sein, aber es ist Elxis (zur Info)

Strato implementiert PHP per CGI, ich kann dennoch eine eigene PHP.ini erstellen und hochladen, diese wird laut phpinfo auch geladen. Aber irgend etwas mache ich da falsch.

Meine PHP.ini sieht so aus:

Mein 1. Problem: das CMS kann die Session nicht in /var/tmp speichern. Es erkennt wohl nicht, dass ich den Sessionpfad geändert habe. Fehlermeldung:

Pfad zum Speicherort der Session 	2;/ var/ tmp (Nicht beschreibbar)

Mein 2. Problem: Die Zeitzone wird irgendwie nicht erkannt, das gibt eine doofe Fehlermeldung

Mein 3. "Problem"

Meni 4. Problem: FTP über PHP will er nicht (habe mittlerweile herausgefunden dass das an Strato liegt und wohl auch nicht aktiviert werden kann. Ist diese Konsequenz:

Elxis könnte die endgültige Konfigurationsdatei Ihrer Webseite auch speichern, andernfalls müssen Sie diese Datei selbst erzeugen und manuell hochladen.

schlimm? Ist es viel Umstand, diese selbst zu erzeugen?

Danach kommt noch die DB-Installation, aber da komme ich drauf.

Ich glaub dann kam ncoh etwas, habs aber grad nicht im Kopf xD

Ich glaube ich habe einfach diese PHP.ini nicht verstanden. Wie muss sie aussehen?
(Ich habe im root die ordner cgi-bin und cgi-page)

Wenn ich www.meinedomain.de eingebe, wird intern auf den unterordner /page geleitet.

Vom Verzeichnis her liegt also alles in meinedomain/page/cms

Edith: Sonst seid ihr doch so fix, was denn los? Ich hoch hier und bekomms nciht gebacken. Wäre cool wenn ihr nur die kleinste Idee habt. Wird die PHP.ini überhaupt so aufgebaut?
