jetzt muss ich doch echt nochmal einen kleinen Nachtrag machen: Ich habe gestern aus eigeninteresse eine Email an Mycroft geschrieben, wie lange die Sprachdaten bei denen auf dem Server bleiben und das hier als Antwort bekommen.

This depends on if you opt into our open data set or not. If you DO NOT, then the query is processed and thrown away immediately. If you do, then we keep that data in accordance with our Opt-In policy. This is anonymized so we don't know where the data came from but is helpful in our ML initiatives to use. At any time someone that is opted in, can contact us and we will purge all data that the user has on our servers. This is done by a one-way hash system that can find the data from the user but is impossible to find the user from the data.

We do not sell any data to marketers, advertising platforms, or profiling groups. We do have a partnership with Mozilla's deepspeech team to share utterances to help build STT engines.

und ja, das ist tatsächlich eine Opt in dh standardverhalten ist off. Ich muss sagen, ich finde die Datenschutz Politik dieser Firma inzwischen echt vertretbar, für amerikanische verhältnisse

richtig. vertrauen ist gut, aber kontrolle im normalfall unmöglich. LOL

Es ist ja schön dass hinter Projekten wie mycroft kein Konzern namens Google, Amazon oder Apple steht. Aber solange die Sprachauswertung nicht autark von der Infrastruktur des Dienstes lokal erfolgt sind diese Geräte Wanzen mit Livestream ins Internet, direkt aus deinem Wohnzimmer.

Mycroft ist flexibel genug, dass man mit Konfigurationsaufwand statt der Cloud einen lokalen Server nutzen kann.
