Dell Bios update

Hallo CB com, vielleicht kann mir einer von euch sagen wie ich am besten das Bios update bewerkstellige.
Mein Ansatz ist die .exe datei mit noch einem zusätzlichen program auf usb zu machen und dann davon zu booten.
Welches Program nehme ich da am besten? Gibt es vielleicht noch andere alternativen? Bei dell steh nur Description:

This file format consists of a BIOS executable file. To use it, download the file and copy it to a DOS-bootable diskette. With the diskette in the floppy drive, reboot the system and run the program.

lustigerweise hat das notbook nicht mal ein diskettenlaufwerk. Grade bei dell hätte ich mir doch schon etwas mehr Support gewünscht^^

Bei Dell gibt es doch immer auch das BIOS Update, um es unter Windows zu machen oder nicht?

Nur mal so...hast Du die *.exe mal ausprobiert ? Normalerweise ist das ein selbstentpackendes Archiv und das Update wird über Windows angestoßen (funktioniert bei Dell zu 99,9% problemlos, bevor jetzt wieder die "mach auf jeden Fall unter DOS" Paranoiker kommen).

danke euch es hat geklappt, (das mit der .exe stimmte) nach dem anklicken hat sich windows neu gestartet und das bios update wurde installiert.
