DELL D420 Shared Video Memory einstellen?

Hi

ich habe ein gebrauchtes Dell D420 mit 2,5GB Arbeitsspeicher.

Laut Spezifikationen von Dell sollte es möglich sein ab einer Arbeitsspeichergröße von 512 MB dem Videomemory bis zu 224MB zuzuteilen. Allerdings finde ich dazu nirgendwo im Bios eine Einstelleung. Biosverison ist das A06 vom 02/02/2008.

Kann mir jemand eine Info geben wo man das Einstellen kann?

Kenne mich berufsbedingt mit Rechnern aus , also ich hab defintiv im BIOS keine einstellung dazu gefunden.

With 2.5GB of memory installed, the BIOS reports the physical memory as 2560 MB and 2039 available. Windows System Information will report the Total physical memory as 2,560,00 and Available Physical memory as 1.46 GB (Figure 1). It should be noted that the Intel UMA Graphics can utilize up to 224 MB of shared memory if the total computer memory is 512 MB or greater. The explains why the operating system reports less available physical memory than the BIOS.

Kann sein das ich falsch liege aber ich glaube das musst Du nicht einstellen, der Grafikchip nimmt sich einfach den Speicher wenn er verfügbar ist. Ob er das jetzt grundsätzlich tut oder nur wenn mehr Speicher benötigt wird weiss ich nicht. Was sagt denn die Treiberinfo wieviel Speicher der Chip bekommt ?

Also zumindest in allen Optionen die ich habe den Grafikspeicher anzeigen zu lassen (z.B. GPU-Z) wird immer 8MB angezeigt, auch wenn ich z.B. ein Spiel starte. Sollte dann nicht theoretisch in GPU-Z mehr angezeigt werden, wäjhrend z.B. Torchlight läuft?
