Firefox lädt nicht mit Proxy Einstellungen des Systems

ich habe eine itunes dll in das system 32 verzeichnis gelegt und einen raidcontroller treiber installiert, danach konnte ich mit firefox unter win xp nicht mehr mit den o.g. einstellungen ins netz, habe den raid controller treiber deinstalliert und neugestartet, gleiches problem. habe dann, "keinen proxy" verwenden unter firefox aktiviert und nun geht es (sonst könnte ich hier ja nicht schreiben . weiß jemand ne lösung? seltsam :/

hmmmm kann mich nicht mehr sehr gut erinnern... (nicht gut ich weiß), kann ich die dll dann löschen und nochmal laden?

Würde die DLL löschen und die iTunes Software direkt von Apple und den Controller-Treiber direkt von der Herstellerseite installieren. Und ein Virus Scan des kompletten Systems nicht vergessen.

naja, wenn die dll infiziert war, wird dein komplettes system infiziert sein. ein löschen der dll ist da nutzlos...

wozu sollte die itunes.dll überhaupt gut sein? was wurde dir versprochen?

itunes hatte eine dll nicht gefunden jedes mal nach systemneustart, den installer habe ich von apple direkt.

also den "download itunes11" installer meinst du? weil apple gibt keine .dll dateien frei, nur komplett-installer

Bei solchen Fehlermeldungen installiert man das betreffende Programm einfach neu. Und lädt keine DLLs irgendwo herunter.

Quit the following programs if they are running:

Apple Software Update
From the Start menu, click Control Panel.

Select iTunes from the list of currently installed programs. Then, click Uninstall.
When asked if you would like to remove iTunes, click Yes.
After the uninstallation is complete, do not restart your computer if you are prompted to.
If you see other iTunes entries in the list, remove them as well by repeating steps 4-6.
Remove any iPod Updater applications that are listed the same way you removed iTunes.
Remove all instances of QuickTime the same way you removed iTunes.

Remove all instances of Apple Mobile Device Support the same way you removed iTunes.
Remove all instances of Bonjour the same way you removed iTunes.

In most cases removing iTunes and its related components from the Control Panel will remove all supporting files belonging to those programs. In some rare cases those though, files may be left behind. After following the previous steps, you should confirm that the following files and folders have been removed. If any are left behind, remove them now:

After verifying that iTunes is completely uninstalled, restart your computer and then download and install the latest version of iTunes.

ja, klar.... nur dumm dass der offizielle apple server unter http://appldnld.apple.com lautet nicht anders. also hast du dir irgendwas runtergeladen und als admin in dein system integriert, egal ob infiziert oder nicht für dein windows tauglich.... tolle sache. am einfachsten wäre wahrscheinlich ein komplettes formatieren der c: partition, da du A) keine ahnung hast, was diese dll bewirkt. B) dein system nun als korrumpiert/verseucht anzusehen ist.

hab die datei gelöscht und nen virescanner laufen lassen, nichts gefunden, sollte ich den rechner nochmal formattieren?

habs ja von chip.de geladen das itunes.

ja, das ganze itunes... aber die fehlende dll hast du nicht von chip oder apple (chip gibt nur den downloadlink von apple weiter), sondern von einem server, irgendwo in australien (laut whois)... sehr vertrauenserweckend.
