Hi,
I apologize for not speaking in german. Is there any way that Terratec will provide us with firmware that enables us to completely turn off the LCD display backlight. It's really annoying to have this kind of light pollution because of small software development mistake in an otherwise great device.

Why do you want to turn off the backlight? If you do not want the display to be on, you can send the device into standby. Or is it cause you use the device to fall asleep? However, this is not a software development mistake.

If putting device to stand by would completely turn off backlight, that would be great and solve the problem, but even in standby mode iradio has emitts light which is in dark room enough to bother me and especially my better half

Same here on an iRadio Cube. Screen is to bright to sleep, even in standby mode...

that is correct. But i really do not need stand by clock over night. I'd rather have darker room.

That is why he said you should disable it ;-)
When you use the "off" Button at the remote control, the device should be dark.
