Hi,

Please excuse me for having to write in english, as my german is very, very poor.
I'm having trouble using the remote control which was supplied with my Noxon iRadio for iPod.
What ever i press on the remote, nothing happens on the Noxon iRadio. How do you test what is wrong, is it the remote or the Noxon?

Best Regards,
Jesper

I don't know this product exactly, but if you want to be clear that the station is not the problem,
try to use the station without the remote. If this is possible there can only be 2 more problems.

1. The Remote is broken
2. The Receiver is broken

You could try other batteries in the remote (but probably you've allready done that^^).
If you can't handle tools very well, you shouldn't open the remote or teh station by yourself.
Look for the bill and hope for warranty. If you bought it at a store, they should check it immediatly
(if possible in front of you). If it comes from the "Inet" (you know what I mean^^),
just send back and say "remote doesn't work". they normally repair or change the broken parts.

Hey Krimson, when you have a radio station running the "i" Key should change the view from Zoom to clock, etc. Does that work - and do other buttons on the remote control work?
By the way... do you know any english speaking forums with AV topics you would like to see Terratec supporting?

There's a trick for checking if your remote is sending any IR signal at all - point it to the lens of a digital camera, press a key and see what happens on the display of the camera. You will usually see some kind of light emitting from the remote's LED (CCDs also "see" infra-red light). You may want to cross-check with another remote in case you don't see anything.
You don't even need to take a picture ;)
This way you can at least check if the remote is sending anything at all...
Cheers,
Klaus
