Problem mit Omega 3.2!!!!!

Hallo zusammen,
Hab ne 9500pro und wollte die mit dem omega 3.2 laufen lassen. Aber als ich den alten Treiber von da Platte und aus der Reges. geputzt hatte un den omega druf gmacht hab sin die 3d darstellungen vom 3Dmark nurnoch in form von diashows abgelaufen und mit dem catalyst 3.2 wars fast ruckelfrei. Auch die Innentemperatur des PCs is auf die Treiberänderung gestiegen.

wer weiß an was das liegen könnte?
Schonmahl danke für eure Antworten.

hab auch den omega drauf gehabt...hat auch nur probleme bereitet, imma noch 60hz, warcraft 3 läuft nicht, ut 2003 stürzt ab....
entweder re-installieren (bei mir funzt eh net)
oda catalyst 3.1/3.2 installieren

Omega-Installation- wichtige Hinweise !

Komisch, hatte vorher den Catalyst 3.2 und jetzt den Omega 3.2 und keine Probleme und alle Games gehen , UT2003 um die 5-7% flotter als mit dem Catalyst 3.2

Da hast du vermutlich zu viel des guten gelöscht, vorallem aus der Registry, ist gefährlich.

Hab es so gemacht wie der Omega-Entwickler es auf seiner Webseite ratet :

Vor der Omega-Installation :
.)Eine Treiberdeinstallation (ATI-Display Driver) der vorigen Catalyst ist nicht nötig.
.)KEINE ATI-TWEAKER-SOFTWARE ! FALLS EINE OBEN DEINSTALIEREN VORHER !
.)Jedoch besser das ATI-Controlpanel des Catalyst vorher deinstallieren
.)Omega dann über den Catalyst-Driver installieren
.)Bei einer 9500-9700pro musst du "9500 or higher" wählen beim Omega-Setup.

"REMEMBER: You DON'T need to uninstall previous drivers using my sets,the included "setup.exe" that runs after the drivers extraction will
replace ANY drivers and erase ANY settings found in the system.
This is NOT needed, but in case you want to be sure:
If you use a tweaker, CLEAR all ATI registry settings, that's all,
then run the main setup included."

1- Uninstall the ATI Control Panel BEFORE upgrading to these drivers, the
drivers already have the CP integrated and another CP may cause conflicts
or problems.
2- There is no need to uninstall ANY previous drivers when
installing these, they will override any previous settings.
3- ALWAYS disable DDC in the ATI "Displays/Monitor" CP after installing drivers
to be able to use ALL the refresh rates and resolutions your monitor supports,
also this is the best way to avoid the 60Hz RR bug.
4- The WDM drivers for VIVO and AIW cards are not included, but they can be
downloaded separately from a link in my drivers page.

Das einzig wahre HZ Tool is Powerstrip, klare Empfehlung !

apropos hz...
wenn ich den computer (+ monitor) für eine längere zeit aus habe und dann einschalte hat es 60hz, und wenn ich neustarte 85Hz, sehr sehr eigenartig

und catalyst 3.2

damals mit catalyst treiber bis 2.5 keine Hz probleme
später catalyst 3-->60Hz.., formatiert..catalyst 2.5 drauf-->60Hz!!!
auch mit registry trick..funzt net!!!

egal das neustarten nervt "momentan" nicht

Also der Cat 3.2 und der Omega auf 3.2basis hat den 60Hz Bug unter Win9x und Me.

Aber der Registry Hack funktioniert in Windows tadellos vieleicht haste was falsch gemacht?

Hier noch mal Anleitung:
Start regedit, go to HKLM/Software/ATI Technologies/Driver/0001/DAL (or instead of 0001 whatever number your current driver uses).
Insert a new binary value, named "DALRULE_ALLOWNONDDCCRTALLMODESUPTO1600x1200". Set the value to 01 00 00 00.
Or, you could try "DALRULE_CRTSUPPORTSALLMODES" and set this to 01 00 00 00 instead. (Both work here perfectly, the difference being that one allows resolutions up to 1600x1200x200, the other 2048x1536x200.
That's it, just reboot.
IMPORTANT: you need to set the refresh rate for all resolutions you want to use manually with regedit, since the driver will likely set them to 200hz when you switch resolutions, so you won't get a picture unless your monitor can handle that. So, go to [HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\0000 (or whatever number your monitor has)\MODES\x\y,z]. Make a new string "RefreshRate" and set it to "85" or whatever you like and your monitor can handle.If you forget to do this you might be forced to boot in safe mode since you might get an "out of range" value by your monitor upon boot-up...

Wenn du der Anleitung nach gehst sind deine 60Hz geschichte.
Denn hab ich mehrfach ausprobiert.
Der Registryhack könnte aber zu anderen Problemen führen!!
