Problem mit webcam

Hallo...

ich habe mir vor kurzem eine webcam zugelegt, Modell: Hama EL-350 und benutze Suse 9.3 .
Wenn ich die cam am Pc anschließe, funktionieren auch die Lichter, es wird aber kein Bild angezeigt.

habe auch schon versucht spca5xx zu installieren aber:

sorry, hab noch nicht so viel erfahrung mit linux, hab also auch kene ahnung was du mit kernel sources meinst ;)
 
Die Kernel Sourcen braucht man, wenn man Kernel Module kompilieren/übersetzen möchte, meistens sind das Treiber.

Gib mal die Ausgabe von:
Code:
rpm -q kernel-source
wenn nicht installiert kannst du das mit YaST nachholen => Software installieren
oder als root direkt mit:
Code:
rpm -ihv kernel-source

Allerdings hat die 9.3 einen inzwischen schon älteren Kernel mit viel weniger Treibern, als die aktuelle openSUSE 10.2.
Evtl. solltest du mal über ein Upgrade oder eine Neuinstallation, kann auch parallel sein, nachdenken.

Das kernel-source paket hab ich jetzt installiert, dann den Rechner nochmal neu gestartet aber wenn ich meine Cam mit amsn testen will passiert immer noch nichts
